The journey begins at Surquillo Market 1, where participants will savor a variety of native and exotic fruits. They’ll discover the origins and benefits of these typical fruits while enjoying their distinct flavors.
Following this, the group will take the Metropolitano bus to downtown Lima to explore the central market and Chinatown. Here, they will sample traditional Chinese-Peruvian snacks and street foods, including Picarones (doughnuts made with potato and fig jam) and the renowned anticuchos (skewered beef heart).
The experience concludes at Alameda Chabuca, near Lima’s Plaza Mayor, where participants will taste the popular street desserts Arroz con Leche and Mazamorra Morada.
