Top level excursion out of Lima - Top level excursion out of Lima. Be prepared for a very long day with fun and adventures and learning some things about the local area. Wildlife viewing at the islands was great. Learning about the Pisco brewing practices and the sampling some was a good relaxing break. The dune buggy experience was thrilling like riding a sand roller coaster. Warning it is not for the faint of heart. The sand boarding is not as you would expect (it's not really like snowboarding on sand... More like sledding on your stomach down a steep dune at high speeds) but still fun nonetheless. Just know it is a very long day and some minor delays may occur due to group size but the host and driver are hard working and friendly people so it should be a great overall experience. Highly recommended from a traveler that has been all over.

Amazing day trip - This was an amazing trip, full day and visited many important landmarks. Best of the day the buggy and sandboarding in huacachina and the pisco tasting. Fernando was a great guide and the group was not large so we had a great time.

Fun fun fun - This was an awesome time. The driver of our dune buggy was so cool. He had us all white knuckling the turns as he carved up the dunes to our laughter and excitement.

Fun packed day! - What a great day! Our guide Italo was so nice. He was very friendly and tried very hard to make sure we all had a great time! He has a kind heart and genuine positive character! The trip itself was very long, yes, but there was a lot included!! Be careful some people booked through different companies and had breakfast and lunch included. For the boat ride, I suggest a raincoat if you’re sitting in the back and some binoculars if you have them to see the animals even closer! If your meal was not included with your deal, for breakfast, there are plenty of options and different places for different prices. For lunch however, you are at the Pisco Vineyard and you have to eat from their menu! Cost about 60-100 sol! It was very delicious though! The vineyard was not skimpy on their tasting at all! The sandboarding was incredible. A MUST DO! I ended up staying in Hiacachina for the evening and not taking the bus back which is a great idea if you ask me!

Sand boarding was the best choice ever! It looked very Mad Max and we had a blast! - Our guide Oswaldo was amazing. My 12 yr old loved him and thought he was funny and engaging. At first I was hesitant about the early morning pickup but don’t worry. My advice is bring a pillow as there is a four hour bus ride to your first stop. You can leave the pillow on the bus without any problems. You will also want that pillow for napping on the way home! Also bring your phone charger. The seats all have USB ports for charging your devices. You don’t really have to worry about bringing food as the guide gives you plenty of time and opportunities to buy breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner for the ride home. Also do bring a jackets as the wind on the boat tour is quite chilly. It was worth it to see all of the birds, penguins and sea lions. The pisco tour and tasting was also really interesting to learn about the history and process of making pisco. Last was the best experience of sand buggy and sand boarding. Our buggy driver was awesome! It was like a sand roller coaster! Lots of opportunities to take pictures of the dunes and with the buggies. The sand boarding was also amazing! This was by far the best experience we have had as a family! If you have a chance to do this tour, I highly recommend you do!

Great tour, long day - The sand dunes and pisco tasting were wonderful! It is a VERYYYYY long day, roughly 9 hours on a bus, although the bus was comfortable. If you’re ready to pack in all the activities in one day then I’d definitely recommend this group, everything was easy and well handled and our guide was fun and informative. But if I could do it again I’d probably stay in Huachachina for a night or two since it’s 4 hours away and such an adorable town around the oasis. From there you could easily go to Paracas and spend more time.

Tour not suitable for English Speakers - Was disappointed there was no sandboarding (feet), but just sandboarding (lying chest down). If you are a English speaker, please do not join. This tour was mainly catered for Spanish speakers. Luis was my tour guide and it seems he only catered toward Spanish speakers. When I asked Luis to translate in English, it seems he was reluctant and only translated less than 50% of what was spoken in English. If you are a English speaker, please go with another tour group.
