Miraflores - The adventure begins with a hotel pick-up in Lima, followed by a scenic drive to San Pedro de Casta via tourist transport. This approximately 3-hour journey offers breathtaking Andean landscapes, with opportunities for photo stops and brief breaks.

Upon arrival at San Pedro de Casta (3,180 meters above sea level), a charming village in the Lima mountain range, guests will enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant featuring regional specialties. After lunch, there will be a short break and time for any last-minute purchases, such as snacks or water.

Marcahuasi - The trek to the Marcahuasi plateau (4,000 meters above sea level) begins. The hike takes between 3 and 4 hours, depending on the group’s pace.

The trail features diverse terrain, including cobblestone paths and gentle inclines, with stunning views of the valley and Andean flora. Strategic stops will be made for rest and hydration.

Upon reaching the campsite, guests will be welcomed with hot beverages and have time to set up tents. They can unwind or explore the area in the evening.

Marcahuasi - A group dinner around the campfire offers an authentic experience in the heart of nature. If weather conditions allow, there will be an opportunity for astronomical telescope observation.

Plateau Exploration and Return to Lima

Marcahuasi - The day begins with a camp breakfast featuring hot infusions and local products. A guided hike follows, exploring the plateau’s mysterious rock formations shaped by wind and time. Highlights include the “Monument to Humanity,” the “Fortress,” and the “Face of the Inca,” each with intriguing stories and legends.

San Pedro de Casta - A light lunch will be served at the campsite before beginning the descent. This is the last chance to capture photos and savor the scenery.

The descent back to San Pedro de Casta takes about 2 hours. Upon arrival, guests will board the tourist transport back to Lima.

Lima - After a journey filled with memorable experiences, guests will return to Lima and be transferred to the original pick-up point, concluding an unforgettable adventure in Marcahuasi.
