Highlights
- Miraflores - Pick up at your hotel/hostel (depending on the location). Direct bus to Paracas, a beautiful small town by the sea, arriving around 9:45 am.
- Islas Ballestas - Go on the 2-hour boat tour of the islands, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. The Ballestas are a smaller version of the Galapagos and are just as great. You’ll see sea lions, penguins, and lots of birds all in their natural habitat. If you’re lucky, you may even see a dolphin or three!
- Huacachina - Depart from Paracas to Huacachina at 1:30 pm, arriving around 2:45 pm.
You will have free time until 4:00 pm when the buggy and sandboarding tour starts.
Dune Buggy up and Sandboard down the biggest sand dunes at the only desert oasis in South America.
The bus departs from Huacachina at 7:00 pm sharp, arriving in Lima around 11:45 pm.

Ensure a fantastic getaway from Lima to Paracas and Huacachina!
We’ll fetch you from your lodging, provided it’s in our pick-up zone. The bus departs directly from Lima to Paracas, without intermediate stops, so don’t forget to carry some nibbles on the bus!
Upon arriving at Paracas, you’ll embark on a tour of the Ballestas Islands, inhabited by a myriad of bird species and mammals, including penguins, sea lions, and pelicans! Afterwards, you’ll journey to Huacachina to encounter an unforgettable adrenaline rush on the largest sand dunes in the Americas!
- Please bring breakfast with you (direct bus).
- Please don’t be late, as bus must leave on time to do Ballestas Islands at 10:00 am.
- Bring sunscreen, it is hot all year round in Paracas and Huacachina.
- Food is not included, although we have discounts in many restaurants.

- Important holidays: Easter weekend April 06-09 and July 28-30 is Independence Day Celebration in Peru: The pick-up time will be 1 hour before the usual time, Sandboarding/dunebuggy (Huacachina) only 1 hour (all operators) and Ballestas Islands (Paracas) only1 hour and 30 minutes (all operators)
- Warm weather all year round. Light-weight jumper/jacket for speedboat ride to Ballestas. Closed-toe footwear for Sandboarding.

- The bus will arrive back in Lima around 11:30 pm - midnight

Lima's best day tour!! - An amazing day!! The sand dunes of Huacachina were simply incredible! The bus was big and comfortable (other companies used smaller ones from what we saw) and the guide was excellent. A must do!

Unforgettable and highly recommended <333 - I have never been one to leave reviews about the tours I take, but the experience I had with this company was absolutely unforgettable and I couldn't help but share it with the world.
Starting with the punctuality with which they picked me up from my hotel, the bus was super comfortable. Throughout the journey, we were accompanied by Arturo, a super friendly and attentive guide.
The first stop was Paracas, where upon arrival we were boarded on a motorboat to take us to the Ballestas Islands, an unforgettable destination with beautiful views and the opportunity to get close to wildlife and take very nice photos. After the tour, I had the opportunity to try a delicious typical dish, Ceviche🤤🤤🤤🤤.
After lunch, we took the bus to go to Huacachina, where after a while to explore the oasis, we were picked up to take us to the dunes, where we had an extreme experience with the dune buggy, traversing the entire desert. Upon reaching the highest dunes, we all slid down doing sandboarding, terrifying but very fun.
It's incredible what you can do in a day if your itinerary is very well planned by the best travel agency in the country 🫶🫶🫶 Comfortable buses that pick you up and drop you off at the door of your hotel or hostel, friendly guides with great English. And the opportunity to take the best photos. 100% recommended.

AMAZING TOUR EXPERIENCE - THE TRIP WAS EXCELLENT! It's my first time traveling with PERU HOP. It was a unique experience; the pick-up was on time, the guide's guidance was very important and helpful for the tour of the Ballestas Islands and Huacachina. There, we went on a buggy ride, learned sandboarding on the dunes with a lot of adrenaline, watched the sunset from the dunes, and ended the tour with our pick-up back to Lima, where the guide also guided the return. I did all of this in one day, which is highly recommended for people who don't have much time. I recommend it.

The best vacations - The bus journey was truly a delightful and enriching experience. From the moment I boarded the bus, I was welcomed by the kindness of the driver, the onboard guide, and the comfort of the seats. The journey went smoothly, with the vehicle gliding smoothly along the road and offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The atmosphere inside the bus was serene, with quiet passengers and a relaxed ambiance that allowed for reflection or simply enjoying the scenery. The stops at intermediate stations were opportunities to stretch our legs and enjoy a brief break, while the driver and guide ensured to keep us informed about the progress of the journey. Overall, the bus journey was a positive experience that allowed me to enjoy the journey as much as the final destination.

Unforgettable Day - The tour was amazing. The guides were great, the transport comfortable. I really enjoyed the tour to Ballestas Island and seeing the sea lions and many kind of birds. Then in Huacachina it was the best experience, the oasis is really impressive, huge sand dunes, stunning views, full of adrenaline and fun whit the buggies and sandboarding, I totally recommend taking this tour, totally safe and full of fun.

Rewarding experience - I've traveled around the world for 13 years, two years around Peru as a solo backpacker . This was my first time visiting Paracas (Ballestas Island) and second time visiting Ica (Huacachina). My experience was simply INCREDIBLE and REWARDING!. Each one of the tours included a friendly bilingual guide & safety procedures & well conditioned tools. - I definitely recommend it! You won't regret booking this tour! Go for it and don't look back!

Unforgettable full day!! - As a solo traveler, I felt so safe doing this tour. I could visit the Ballestas Island and do the rollercoaster buggies! I am so glad I decided to go with them because they organized everything for me:)
