Relaxing and worth it - My wife and I had the pleasure of going on this tour with Marco when we were the only guests. Marco was terrific and knew many things about Lima beyond the tour of the Aliaga Palace. The Palace was perfectly lovely and Marco entertained us during our stroll thru Lima. He shared his thoughts about Peru and we had a wonderful time. This is a relaxing tour at a nice pace for us.

Renzo was a great guide! - Renzo was an excellent guide for our Lima city tour! He was both knowledgeable and personable. Plus, he made the history interesting, with a variety of perspectives...he clearly loves the history of his country and city. His English is excellent. I highly recommend requesting him.

A Must-See Hidden Gem! - We stumbled on the listing for this tour and since I love old houses, we thought it would be interesting to see. It ended up being so much more and we're so glad we saw it! Casa Aliaga seems to be skipped by most tourists and people are really missing out. Because the owners still live in parts of the house, only a few people at a time can visit, so we had the whole place to ourselves. The architecture and decor are absolutely stunning. Our tour guide Marco Polo (he told us to call him "MP") was extremely knowledgeable and patient with all our questions (we love history too!) After the house, we walked around the area bit, learning more about the architecture and history of Lima and Peru. We ended the tour at a delightful bar to enjoy Peru's famous pisco sour. They're delicious, go down really smooth, and there's barely an alcohol taste, so proceed with caution or you'll be tipsy in no time!

A family home that deserves to be listed by UNESCO. Anyone expecting a gem would be enchanted, an incredible experience - UNESCO historic family home of the 17th century. Descendants of a companion of Pizarro. Incredibly beautiful, lots of little beauties. Thank you for letting me experience this. A highlight of my visit here in Peru. Thank you, thank you. 😊🌞

Good tour for previous visitors - Sofia was a delightful tour guide. We had been to Lima before, but had never been to Casa Aliaga, and it was very interesting to hear about its history. We also really enjoyed having a nice conversation with Sofia as we sipped on a delicious pisco sour. Pick up and drop off we’re right on time.

Fantastic tour of Casa de Aliaga and downtown Lima - We had a fantastic tour of Casa de Aliaga and the historic centre of Lima with our guide Manuel. We really wanted to visit Casa de Aliaga after seeing photos online and it didn't disappoint. Manuel helped us understand the historical context of the Aliaga family as well as the house and its artwork. When walking around downtown Lima, Manuel picked up on our interest in architecture and history. We wouldn't have seen anything like we did had we walked around on our own. We ended our tour with a pisco sour at the beautiful Gran Hotel Bolívar. Manuel is a great guide and very knowledgeable and passionate about his city. I highly recommend this tour for a unique insight into Lima.

Highly recommended! - I loved this experience. I did it on my last evening in Lima, but it would have also been great at the start to set the scene. First off, the Casa Aliaga is exquisite, one of the best places I visited in Lima. But almost better than this was the conversation I had with my guide Sofia. This tour sets the scene for visiting Lima so well, right back to geography and prehistory. I had been to a lot of museums and tours at this point, and still learned many new facts. And chatting over a cocktail in a lovely setting was a great way to finish, particularly as Sofía was so knowledgeable and friendly.
