- Barranco - The journey begins with a departure from centrally located hotels to explore the bohemian district of Barranco, a neighborhood rich in cultural galleries, coffee shops, and street art. Visitors will have the chance to admire stunning republican architecture. The tour includes visits to the Main Square and the Bridge of Sighs, where the pathway known as Bajada de Baños (Lowered of the Baths) can be appreciated. This stone road leads to the city’s beaches. Historically, Barranco was a fishing neighborhood, and its beaches were popular with Lima’s upper-middle class, who built European-style ranches and mansions there. During the Pacific War in 1881, the Chilean army occupied the area, looting and destroying much of it, including the Bridge of Sighs, which has been restored several times.
- Ruinas de Pachacamac - Next, the tour visits the Archaeological Sanctuary of Pachacamac, located just 30 km south of Lima. Built in adobe with views of the sea and the Lurin River valley, it was a pilgrimage site for many cultures that developed in ancient Peru. The first civilizations date back to 5000 B.C. When the Incas arrived, the complex was adapted to serve as an administrative center, respecting and incorporating local constructions. Pachacamac has three important sectors: the administrative area, which includes the Acllahuasi, the Palace of Tauri Chumpi, and the Pilgrimage Plaza, among others; the religious area, with many temples such as the Temple of the Sun and the Moon; and finally, the domestic zone.
- Site Museum and Archaeological Sanctuary of Pachacamac - The tour also includes a visit to the Site Museum of Pachacamac to gain deeper insight and appreciate the salvaged remnants of the area. The Temple of the Sun, built by the Incas when they arrived on the coast of Lima in 1470, is the highest part of the complex, oriented towards the sea. Constructed with red-colored adobes, it is the largest temple on the Peruvian coast. The tour concludes with the return of each passenger to their selected hotels.
