• Calle Defensa - The walking tour begins at the San Telmo office, located in one of Buenos Aires’ oldest neighborhoods. This area is renowned for its lively tango and arts scene. The antique markets, traditional street lamps (“faroles”), cobblestone streets, historic buildings, and original decor contribute to its distinctive bohemian charm.
• Mercado de San Telmo - The tour includes a visit to the San Telmo market, a structure opened in 1897 to cater to the influx of immigrants at the time. Today, it still hosts some shops selling meat, vegetables, and groceries, but most offer local cuisine and international specialties. Here, participants will enjoy tasting some delicious empanadas.

The journey continues along Defensa Street, at the heart of the San Telmo neighborhood, leading to Plaza Dorrego.

• Caminito - A bus ride will take us to the La Boca neighborhood, famous for the Boca Juniors stadium and the vibrant Caminito street. Visitors will be captivated by street tango performances and learn how tango, soccer, and diverse immigration influences have made Buenos Aires one of the world’s most alluring cities.

• Puente de la Mujer - Another bus ride offers views of Puerto Madero’s modern skyscrapers. The tour will highlight the “Puente de la Mujer,” an iconic bridge designed by Santiago Calatrava. Its distinctive, asymmetrical design, reminiscent of a couple dancing tango, symbolizes Buenos Aires’ dynamic culture and architectural creativity.

• Casa Rosada - The tour continues on foot through Plaza de Mayo, showcasing iconic landmarks like the historic Cabildo. Along the way, participants will also see Buenos Aires’ main avenues and visit the magnificent Metropolitan Cathedral.
