Lijiang - Qiaotou - Tea & Horse Guesthouse

Yangtze River First Bend - At 7:30 am, the tour guide and driver will meet the group at the south gate of Lijiang Ancient Town. The journey then proceeds to Qiaotou Town. Along the way, there will be a stop to admire the panoramic view of the First Bend of the Yangtze River from a distance.

Upon arrival in Qiaotou Town, there will be a 2.5-hour hike starting from Qiaotou Elementary School to visit a traditional Naxi Family in Nuoyu Village for lunch and a rest.

Tiger Leaping Gorge (Hutiao Xia) - In the afternoon, the hike continues for about 1.5 hours to the 28 Zigzag Turns Trail. Participants can enjoy a stunning view of the upper part of Tiger Leaping Gorge from the 28 Turns Trail. Following this, there is a 1-hour hike to the Tea & Horse Guesthouse for an overnight stay.

Tea & Horse Guesthouse - Tina’s Guesthouse – Lijiang/Shangri-la

Tiger Leaping Gorge (Hutiao Xia) - After breakfast, there is a 1-hour hike to Bendiwan Village for a relaxing break at the Half-Way Guesthouse. The hike continues along a scenic trail to the charming Guanyin Waterfall, reaching Tina’s Hostel by midday.
Afterwards, the trek proceeds from Tina’s Guesthouse down to the Middle Rapids via Teacher Zhang’s Guesthouse. The journey then continues from Thin Strip of Sky to Walnut Grove Garden, before walking back to Tina’s Guesthouse. At 3:30 pm, a bus will transport the group back to Lijiang or Shangri-la.

Drop-off will be at the South Gate of Lijiang Old Town or in Shangri-la at Moonshine Square, marking the end of the tour.
