Great tour of Salina - This was an excellent tour. The pace was comfortable, and we learned so much about the history, geography, culture, agriculture, and food of Salina. We recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning more about their surroundings.

Wonderful experience of Salina - We loved this experience. Giuseppe was a superb host - who shared his knowledge and love for the bounty of Salina. We learned about the producing of capers and the delicious wines of Salina. We had great tastings of both. This was a memorable day as it was also my birthday! And made it all the more special. The best of Salina! - Absolutely fantastic experience. Way more than I expected. Giuseppe is a an excellent, knowledgeable guide who loves meeting people and is passionate about capers, wine, the history and agriculture of Isole Salina. I highly recommend if you are on Salina, even if only for a day that you dedicate a few hours to this experience. You will not regret it. Informative Relaxing and Fun… - Giuseppe does a wonderful job explaining the agriculture and the island. I highly recommend. I did tour in late June at 5M when it was cooler in the day.

Salina EcoGastronomica Review - We enjoyed our tour with Giuseppe to see the caper plants and vineyards of Salina and discuss agriculture. Giuseppe picked us up at our hotel and we then toured around Leni (walked the vineyards and saw the caper plants) with a later stop for caper appetizers and local wine. We learned a lot about the island in addition to capers and wine. Giuseppe answered all of our questions, was informative and friendly. This was one of our favorite tours during our visit to the Aeolian islands and Sicily. Giuseppe was very response to email inquiries. The tour was in English.

A perfect afternoon on the island of Salina - A great experience with Giuseppe! A drive around the island with great views and a visit to an organic caper farm with tour around it, a visit to the winery on the farm and a lovely meal with various delicious caper appetizers, local cheeses and wine. A great day!

Fantastic tour and guide - We had a delightful tour and tasting with Giuseppe. He was deeply knowledgeable about the island and it's history (and helped us connect some dots about my mothers families connection). He was incredibly welcoming, like getting to spend time with a good friend and meeting some of his friends and seeing the amazing things they are doing.

The very best tour - do not miss it! - This tour was the highlight of our trip to the small island of Salina. Giuseppe not only gave an incredible tour but he rescued us from floundering trying to find our hotel! The caper appetizers and wine that was served at the end was great. Caper tour on Salina - Giuseppe is a wonderful tour guide with a love for his island home and the people and food he lives amongst. We really enjoyed seeing and learning about the capers: how they are grown, harvested, prepared and best of all, how they are eaten! I am already missing the flavour of those sweet and sour capers and delicious caper berries. I enjoyed the generous meal we enjoyed after visiting the sites of Salina. This tour was well worth including in our itinerary.

Great experience around the island with Giuseppe - Giuseppe is a great guy with a love for Salina. He took us around the island in his car, stopping at beautiful vistas. He discussed the agriculture and the architecture. We got a view of the island we otherwise wouldn’t have gotten. Learning about capers and watching people pick them was fascinating. The caper and wine tasting (including pesto, caponata etc.) on a bio farm was special. I took one star off the review because we were eaten alive with mosquitos at the tasting stop. We waited 10-15 minutes for another group to arrive. It took a while before citron was lit. I realize mosquitoes aren’t something anyone can control, but you can limit the time outdoors at dusk. Gotta break out the DEET I guess! I recommend the experience.
