Wonderful Ladakh - Perfect organisation! The team is very proactive. Dorjay was very professional and a pleasant person to interact with. The choice of hotels was excellent with very kind and service minded staff. We loved our trip. A big thumb up to Gulzar, our driver.

Great Private Tour in Ladakh - I recently completed a 18-day tour through Ladakh in April with Active Adventure, and it was a very positive experience. The trip was well-organized and specifically tailored to my interests, which made the long itinerary feel manageable and personalized. Dorjay, the owner, was easy to work with from the start. He was flexible when I needed to make adjustments during the trip and checked in regularly to make sure everything was running smoothly. His proactive follow-ups were appreciated and ensured there were no logistical issues. My driver, Ali, was excellent. He knows the local routes very well, which is essential in this region, and he is a safe, reliable driver. He also kindly helped me take quite a few photos along the way, which was a nice bonus for a solo traveler. Overall, Active Adventure is a trustworthy agency. If you are planning a trip to Ladakh and want someone reliable who can accommodate your specific needs, I recommend reaching out to them.

Great experience with Dorjay and team - We did a private 6-day Ladakh tour in the first week of April, and it was an amazing experience. We completely fell in love with the landscapes, mountains, and snow. The scenery is truly something special and unlike anywhere else. Dorjay was very responsive right from our first conversation. He was patient throughout the planning and made sure everything was smooth. Even when we had to wait for permits after landing on a Sunday, he handled it without any issues. Just something to note—if you arrive on a weekend, check in advance about permit timings, especially during the off-season. A special mention for our driver, Phuntsog. Some parts of the roads were not easy to navigate, but he handled everything very well. We always felt safe and never rushed during the trip. He also kept the car clean every day, which we really appreciated. We booked our own hotels and only needed a car with a driver. We chose a Fortuner, and the car was new and very comfortable for the terrain. Since it was still not peak season, many restaurants in Leh and smaller towns were not open. We mostly ate at the hotels we stayed in, which worked out fine. Overall, Ladakh was a great experience, and everything was well managed. We would definitely recommend Dorjay and his team—no need to look further.

Trip in leh - The days with my guide were actually the best in my whole Ladakh trip. He welcomed me by picking me up from the airport and helped me with finding a beautiful and cheap home stay and with everything i had to do.. SIM card, taxi ride to other places in Ladakh etc. He also showed me some interesting places in leh:) you really feel that he’s Not doing all that for money but to leave you a great experience and memory!! It was interesting to talk about the culture and Buddhism as well. More like a friend than a guide🫶🏻 thank you!!

Excellent if not best tarvel advisor/agency in Leh/Ladakh - delivered, anticipated, reacted,..., all our needs and requests. we had a wonderful trip in Ladakh covering 1500 km in 15 days with our driver Ilias. can't stress the importance of the driver who became advisor, photographer, guide and much more. this is all of about trust and they delivered!

A magical Ladakh experience - We had the most wonderful holiday in magical Ladakh. The experience exceeded my family's expectations who, safe to say, were blown away, even though the weather threatened to play spoilsport on occasion. Thank you to Thinlay Dorje at Active Adventure for organising everything seamlessly - from air ticket booking, airport pickup and drop, the very well maintained vehicle for our travels, and to the permits that were required for travel to the more remote regions. Stobdan, our driver over nearly 4 days, was thoroughly professional, a gentleman and an excellent driver. The choice of hotels that Active Adventures works with was great too, and we had a great experience at each of them (at Leh, Nubra Valley, and Pangong Lake). Thinlay himself was courteous and very responsive to our requests, and I would not hesitate in recommending him to others who are looking to travel to Ladakh. We ended our trip without a single glitch and with memories to last a lifetime.

Dorjee, Ali, and Incredible Homestays Made Our Ladakh Adventure Perfect! - We had an absolutely superb experience with Active Adventures and cannot recommend them highly enough! We were three friends from Germany and Austria traveling together, and everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. Special kudos to Dorjee, the brilliant tour organizer, who not only made sure every detail was taken care of but also accommodated all our special requests with great care and flexibility. A huge thank you also to Ali, our fantastic driver – his skill and calmness navigating through tough terrain made us feel safe and relaxed throughout the journey. What really stood out were the terrific and enriching homestays we experienced along the way. Each one offered not just comfort, but also genuine warmth and cultural richness that made our trip even more memorable. <>*<><*>*Ladakh Must <>*<><><> - I deliberately chose this travel agency because the boss as well as the entire team are on site, for me it is important that the money stays in the country that I travel. I can only recommend to anyone, is up to me. It was no ordinary journey from the first contact to our departure, it was addressed to all our needs and sometimes the whole plan was thrown over by my new ideas. We would like to thank our great Lady Guide Tserin, our Mega driver, Ali and especially the boss Dorjay. The Dalai Lama was visiting Ladakh, the agency made it possible to rebook the flight, and so we were able to attend the extraordinary visit of the Dalai Lama. I am one of the people who also need some comfort, this need was excellently met, I can also only recommend Hotel Chospa and Dolkhar. The journey is certainly not quite easy and a bit arduous due to the altitude, but all the sights were 100% worth visiting. I hope I can travel to Leh once in my life in winter. Thank you Thank you
