Trip in leh - The days with my guide were actually the best in my whole Ladakh trip. He welcomed me by picking me up from the airport and helped me with finding a beautiful and cheap home stay and with everything i had to do.. SIM card, taxi ride to other places in Ladakh etc. He also showed me some interesting places in leh:) you really feel that he’s Not doing all that for money but to leave you a great experience and memory!! It was interesting to talk about the culture and Buddhism as well. More like a friend than a guide🫶🏻 thank you!!

Excellent if not best tarvel advisor/agency in Leh/Ladakh - delivered, anticipated, reacted,..., all our needs and requests. we had a wonderful trip in Ladakh covering 1500 km in 15 days with our driver Ilias. can't stress the importance of the driver who became advisor, photographer, guide and much more. this is all of about trust and they delivered!

A magical Ladakh experience - We had the most wonderful holiday in magical Ladakh. The experience exceeded my family's expectations who, safe to say, were blown away, even though the weather threatened to play spoilsport on occasion. Thank you to Thinlay Dorje at Active Adventure for organising everything seamlessly - from air ticket booking, airport pickup and drop, the very well maintained vehicle for our travels, and to the permits that were required for travel to the more remote regions. Stobdan, our driver over nearly 4 days, was thoroughly professional, a gentleman and an excellent driver. The choice of hotels that Active Adventures works with was great too, and we had a great experience at each of them (at Leh, Nubra Valley, and Pangong Lake). Thinlay himself was courteous and very responsive to our requests, and I would not hesitate in recommending him to others who are looking to travel to Ladakh. We ended our trip without a single glitch and with memories to last a lifetime.

Dorjee, Ali, and Incredible Homestays Made Our Ladakh Adventure Perfect! - We had an absolutely superb experience with Active Adventures and cannot recommend them highly enough! We were three friends from Germany and Austria traveling together, and everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. Special kudos to Dorjee, the brilliant tour organizer, who not only made sure every detail was taken care of but also accommodated all our special requests with great care and flexibility. A huge thank you also to Ali, our fantastic driver – his skill and calmness navigating through tough terrain made us feel safe and relaxed throughout the journey. What really stood out were the terrific and enriching homestays we experienced along the way. Each one offered not just comfort, but also genuine warmth and cultural richness that made our trip even more memorable. All in all, it was a seamless blend of adventure, hospitality, and local flavor – a truly enriching journey. If you’re considering a trip with Active Adventures, go for it – you won’t regret it!

<>*<><*>*Ladakh Must <>*<><><> - I deliberately chose this travel agency because the boss as well as the entire team are on site, for me it is important that the money stays in the country that I travel. I can only recommend to anyone, is up to me. It was no ordinary journey from the first contact to our departure, it was addressed to all our needs and sometimes the whole plan was thrown over by my new ideas. We would like to thank our great Lady Guide Tserin, our Mega driver, Ali and especially the boss Dorjay. The Dalai Lama was visiting Ladakh, the agency made it possible to rebook the flight, and so we were able to attend the extraordinary visit of the Dalai Lama. I am one of the people who also need some comfort, this need was excellently met, I can also only recommend Hotel Chospa and Dolkhar. The journey is certainly not quite easy and a bit arduous due to the altitude, but all the sights were 100% worth visiting. I hope I can travel to Leh once in my life in winter. Thank you Thank you

Amazing Ladakh!!! - Our tour was 9D/8N long and we travelled around Ladakh visiting Leh Valley, Nubra Valley and Pangdong lake and Tso Moriri. This week was amazing thanks to a perfect organization by Dorjey and Tsewang, our prossional driver. Our accomodations were excellent and they have been available to any requestes. Super recommended!

A great experience with a personal touch - Dorjay inspired trust from the first contact: quick to respond, precise, able to interpret requests and provide personalized solutions. We asked him to organize a 16-day itinerary for us that would include some off-the-beaten-path destinations, including dedicated treks, and that would allow us to better connect with the local population and culture at high altitude; the outcome was very positive. He relies on a network of skilled collaborators (drivers, guides, and other local operators), who are well-trained and speak excellent English, and uses modern, well-maintained, and comfortable means of transport. He quickly handles the procedures for access permits to specific areas and facilitates initial on-site procedures (e.g., SIM cards, local cash, any medications); he knows and can guide those arriving in Ladakh in adapting to the high altitude, always carrying oxygen tanks and masks, and providing particularly helpful advice. He selects accommodations suited to the request and highlights any shortcomings (water, electricity) due to the area or the season, which the visitor should be aware of. He promptly handled a necessary change of plans due to the closure of the Khardung La Pass due to a landslide/accident. Finally, he makes payments simple and transparent (which is not a given). He helped us discover a fascinating land, a very interesting culture, and spent a very pleasant holiday in the complexity of a border region. It will be a pleasure to return... I recommend Dorjay and Active Adventure to anyone who wants to safely and personally organize an authentic and meaningful stay in Ladakh (and possibly Kashmir), immersed in the local culture and managing the high-altitude adventure with peace of mind.

Excellent and reliable company for Ladakh tours, recommended. - We booked a 11 day trip in Ladakh through the Zanskar and Aryan valley. We paid the deposit in our own country and the remaining in Leh the process was well organised and the communication throughout from Dorjay was great. Our drivers were safe throughout our journey and the 8 day trip through Zanskar valley was incredible. Thanks again Dorjay.
