As the plane descended into Leh, the capital of Ladakh, I was immediately struck by the surreal beauty of the Himalayas. Upon arrival, I was whisked away to a charming local hotel, where the warm hospitality and serene ambiance provided the perfect setting to acclimatize to the high altitude.

The market’s colorful stalls, offering everything from handcrafted souvenirs to local delicacies, were a feast for the senses. The Enchanting Sham Valley: A Journey Through Time

The next morning, after a hearty breakfast, I embarked on an exhilarating drive to the picturesque Sham Valley. Continuing our journey, we visited the sacred Gurudwara Patthar Sahib and the Sangam Point, where the mighty Indus River meets the Zanskar River.
