Additional Information

Join us for a tour of Lecce’s exquisite Art & Nature, widely recognized as the Baroque Capital.

Experience Lecce, a city that will leave a lasting impression as we explore grand private estates complete with courtyards and lush gardens. We’ll also admire the intricate icons displayed on many of the city’s stunning churches, with explanations provided by me.

As we traverse the city’s hidden alleyways, we’ll journey through the old town’s maze-like heart. Here, we can immerse ourselves in the relaxed ‘slow life’ so prevalent in southern Italy, soaking in the genuine ambiance of day-to-day life.
Together, we’ll explore the fantastic array of religious art and visit the oldest workshops famed for their ceramic and papier-mache creations.

Of course, the tour wouldn’t be complete without a taste of local cuisine. Be sure to try ‘puccia’ (a bread filled with vegetables) or ‘pasticciotto’ (a sweet custard pastry), from one of the legacy pastry shops I’ll recommend.

Historical walking tour in Lecce - We enjoyed hearing about the history of the city and our guide was very friendly and helpful, however I don't feel that the tour was worth what we paid for it
