Aleko hut - At 9:30 am we will pick you up from your hotel / accommodation in Sofia and drive you to the cabin lift. After around 20 minutes of picturesque landscape trip with the gondola, you will reach the top station - Aleko ski centre. There you will receive all the equipment and clothes needed from the ski school. When you are ready you will hit the slopes where the fun starts. The instructor will evaluate your skills and make a suitable plan for the group. After you learn some basic drills and exercises you will be ready to move and practice the techniques on some easy slopes. The day training will include two ski lessons with a total time of 3 hours and a break for lunch or tea at the Aleko Chalet. When we finish with the activities we will take you back to your hotel/accommodation or any point in Sofia.

Embark with us on an exhilarating journey down the stunning slopes of Vitosha Mountain, just a 30-minute journey from the heart of Sofia! Concerned about gear? Don’t be - we’ve got it covered! From skis to attire, we provide it all. Your skiing debut will be guided by a seasoned professional who will spare no effort to educate and guide you into the excitement of winter sports. Special ‘beginner-friendly’ slopes are available where you will take your first forays into skiing. Rest assured that the group will be small, allowing the trainer to focus on you individually. The overall duration of the session will be about 3 hours; by sundown, you’ll have completed your introductory ski escapade.

Great experience - Daniel drove us to Mt Vitosha and he was very knowledgeable about the area etc. His English was amazing and he couldn't do enough to help us. He stayed with us for a little while during our lesson as the instructor English wasn't as good as his..this helped massively.
We mentioned we wanted to try bulgarian food to Daniel and he sorted this for our lunch.
The skiing lessons were great and everyone was super friendly.
100% recommend.

What an amazing day - There is no better way to try skiing. Such a hastle free trip… everything is organised… collection from hotel, ski lifts, equipment, clothing. Our guide was amazing- friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and most of all patient. We will definitely do this again. Absolutely amazing. Thank you.

Days skiing lesson - Could not fault our day on the slopes , we were collected from our hotel by Alex , who took care of everything from the lift passes to the equipment to the clothing ! This was our first time skiing and he was a patient , encouraging and enthusiastic teacher . Our 12 year old son took to him straight away and when he got frustrated with his efforts Alex was there to support encourage him and make him laugh !
Can’t recommend highly enough and will definitely be back to try something else

Probably the best experience in Sofia! - During our visit in Bulgaria, we came across the offer going to ski to Vitosha mountain. Our great experience began in the morning Alex came exactly on time to pick us up in front of the hotel with a big smile and excellent English. Draw us upward to the lift and even stop the car getting the coffee for my wife.
During the drive, we got a lot of historical and actual explanations about Bulgaria and Sofia.
The experience continued on the ski slope where Alex presented a complete and perfect carving style explaining to us an easy way. My daughter was the first one to accomplish the technique as she is riding roller skates every day in Dxb.
I am giving the highest rating to Alex and highly recommend him to enjoy your day on Vitosha mountain on skies while visiting Sofia.

Great time Skiing in Sofia - We took Air bnb in Sofia. Alex the ski instructor came to pick us up and took us to the mountain. We didn’t have to deal with the ski pass or rentals.
He took care of everything. The kids had a great time and the ski lesson was very nice!

Great option while visiting Sofia! - We have enjoyed our tour. Alex, our instructor/guide was great. We got picked up on time, we got all of the necessary equipment, and got to learn a lot about downhill skiing. Alex is a really good instructor.
