Swayambhunath Temple - This half-day sightseeing provides you an insight of Kathamndu’s history, culture, and other practical information. Besides Swayambhu you will visit some old sections of Kathmandu. Half-day is rest.
KATHAMNDU - LUKLA - PHAKDING
Lukla - A short early morning flight takes you to mountain village Lukla and our trek starts. Today’s trek is of three hours approximately to a sherpa village of Phakding. Overnight at local teahouse.
PHAKDING - NAMCHEBAZAAR
Namche Bazar - From Phakding the trek goes along the Dudh Koshi river to Monjo and climbs the Namche hill to mountain town Namche Bazar.

Mount Everest - Today is a rest day to acclimatize. However, the rest day is well spent by visiting Mt. Everest view point (20 min walk from your lodge) to the local museum and Buddhist center and the fascinating local market.

TREK TO MONJO
Monjo - From Lawudo after breakfast, start trek down to Namche Bazaar and continue to Monjo.
TREK TO LUKLA
Lukla - Trek down to Phakding where you spend the first night of the trek and continue to Lukla. Get ready for the next day flight.
FLIGHT TO KATHAMNDU OR MANTHALI
Kathmandu - In busy seasons, flight can be Manthali than to Kathmandu. If you fly to Manthali the flight is shorter and driver is more 4 hours to Kathmandu. If your flight is direct to Kathamndu then of coruse you are in Kathamndu by 10AM.

Kathmandu - As sometimes the weather is not predictable for flights, we keep this day as a free day.

Lawudo Gompa serves as a serene meditation location and hermitage for Lama Zopa (of the Kopan Monastery in Kathmandu), an eminent personality in Tibetan / Himalayan Buddhism.
