Awesome! - I had 2 teenagers with me and we all loved the tour! We saw sand sharks, stingrays, puffer fish and so much more. We always enjoy activities with Square Grouper and always recommend it to friends!

Water loving family adventure - Ellie was a fabulous guide. We took our teenagers out with us. She was knowledgeable and patient. I’ve always loved snorkeling and it’s been a while since my last snorkel. We were the only party to sign up and got lots of individual connection with this outing. We saw the coral reefs and many creatures. It is a very accessible adventure to wrap into a family beach trip. It is best for people with a solid swimming skill set. Being out in the water over your head for at least an hour is the norm.

Great experience - awesome finds - Our tour guide Ben was amazing. His partner Ellie was also excellent as she welcomed us and got us all set up before we headed out to the reef. Ben answered and explained everything that the guests on the tour were curious about. We got lucky and saw some really interesting finds including a nurse shark, multiple rays, large conch, dozens of species of fish including large schools that swam all around us, and the real treat of the day was two, 200 pound loggerhead turtles. It’s hard to predict what you might see on a trip like this but this definitely exceeded any expectations that we had.

Awesome adventure - Ben and Ellie were awesome guides. They were happy and willing to explain everything included with the trip. We got very lucky on our excursion and saw dozens of species of fish, as well as multiple rays, a nurse shark, large conch, and two large loggerhead turtles weighing around 200 pounds each. It was very cool to be able to just head out from the beach and wade out to the reef nearby. At only $45 per person it was well worth the money for this experience!

Great time - over too quickly! - John was a great guide; he was very knowledgeable and friendly. The equipment was good, and I enjoyed exploring the reef. It was a bit frustrating because it took a loooong time to get out there, which really ate into the allotted time. But I suppose with a mixed group with varying skill levels that can’t be helped.

Snorkeling at Fort Lauderdale by the sea. - Snorkeling was ok, but you know, anytime you’re in the ocean and see fish, is a good day!! The guide on my trip was a bit inexperienced but we all have to learn. I would go again!!

Be wary! - Our outing was canceled due to high surf and winds. We did not get a call telling us that. We spoke to John when we arrived at the location looking for our tour. He said that we could reschedule, use our money for another tour or rental, or get a refund. We chose refund. He pulled out his phone, tapped a couple keys and told us "your refund is on the way!" The next day I didn't see any email telling me the refund was being processed which I thought was suspicious. I called him and he said it would take 3 days. One week later I still hadn't seen any sign of a refund being initiated so I called back. This time he took the time to go through two factor authentication to log into his system, confirm that he had my correct day, time, and name to "check on the refund." He told me that it could take up to 3 to 5 weeks for the refund to go through. After hanging up I checked my email and I had an email from trip advisor and a minute later paypal telling me that a refund had been initiated. This confirmed my suspicions that he had never initiated the refund up to that point...I assume with the hopes that I would forget about it and/or stop pursuing it.
