Highlights
  • The Mob Museum - Our daily tour starts on the steps of the Mob Museum in Downtown Las Vegas. The Mob has dramatically shaped the city’s history and in the pop culture lore of Las Vegas the Mob has had a starring role in movies, books and television. We step briefly into the lobby of the museum built as a 1930s courthouse and you’ll learn from your guide about the history of the building, the museum and how the Mob uniquely shaped the city’s history. Your tour guide was once the cultural planner for the city and worked on the early phases of the museum project and will share a number of personal stories about the project. Continuing on our walk through Downtown, you’ll hear more stories related to the Mob and to specific casinos, and it is highly recommend that visitors go to the Mob Museum after our tour ends as it is one of the most unique museum experiences in Las Vegas.

Great tour - Great tour. Learned that the first downtown hotel was built in 1906. Don’t hesitate to book! Nice tour that isn’t too overwhelming.

All around great way to spend some of your time in Vegas - This tour was so much fun. It was entertaining and informative. Rick has a passion for what he does and his background is in culture and has lived and worked in Vegas for a long time. You can tell how much he cares about the topic and is knowledgable. I enjoy walking tours when I visit cities. I've donne some where someone has just memorized a script and can't answer any questions not in what they've been told. Rick created this tour and he can answer questions and give his thoughts on a variety of topics. I highly recommend that you do this tour on your first day as he gives some great suggestions to things to check out. He has a great energy and is fun to be around. It's a nice small size group so it feels more intimate which lends itself to a lot of interaction and asking questions. I'll be recommending this tour to everyone who I know that visits Vegas. Tip: If you're staying on the strip and taking the Deuce bus, add in extra time for the construction that's going on. I was coming from the south end at Excalibur and it took 20 minutes longer than what Google maps said but luckily I'd padded in an extra 30 minutes in my planning just in case.

Awesome Experience! - This was an awesome tour that should not be missed when coming to Las Vegas. Rick, our tour guide, is the best! He gives a really fun tour of downtown with many unexpected surprises along the way. His knowledge of the city is amazing and he is clearly very passionate about the area and the tourists who come to visit. The arts district also has some great places for lunch. Do not miss this great experience! We will be back. Thank you Rick!
