- SunBuggy Fun Rentals - Check in at the Fabrication and Training facility where your off road thrill machines are custom built! You will be fitted with safety gear, watch a brief orientation video before heading to the Dune Buggy staging area about a mile away. Free lockers are available to store anything you don’t wish to loose out in the desert.
Your vehicles are extremely rugged with an aggressive low and wide stance that makes them remarkably stable! These vehicles have a fully welded double loop steel roll cage and 4 point harness style seat belt. This is longer than other Race Driving Experiences and much more intense!
- Nellis Dunes - You will be the driver on 15,000 acres of radically varied high desert terrain right on the edge of Las Vegas (you can see the strip from the tops of the dunes). After a brief on site orientation, your guide will lead small groups on a high intensity chase where your skills will be pushed to the max!
After returning from your adventure, drop off your safety gear, pick up any secured belongings, get your souvenir T-shirt, and have a shuttle take you back to your point of origin.

Pick from Dune Buggy Desert Racers with 1, 2, or 4 seats for a sensational 30-, 60-, or 120-minute adventure. Round-trip transportation from many Las Vegas hotels, all necessary safety equipment, and refreshing bottled water are included.
- Not recommended for children aged 3 and under
- Minimum age is 16 years with a valid driver’s license
- Drivers under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult (Photo ID will be required)
- If you opt for a two-seat or four-seat vehicle, you can switch drivers every 30 minutes on the longer rides.

Awesome dune buggy ride! - We went on a dune buggy experience with guide Charlie and his team, and we must say we had an amazing time! Charlie was not only knowledgeable about the area but also made the ride extremely fun and enjoyable. The scenery was breathtaking, and Charlie's expertise added an extra layer of excitement to the adventure. We had a great time and would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a thrilling outdoor activity. Thanks, Charlie and Sunbuggy Fun team, for the unforgettable ride!

What an adventure! - What a great way to explore the desert areas outside Las Vegas. Pickup service by Michael was on time and we got a full guided tour of the city's attractions as we made our way to the Buggy HQ. This guy was so entertaining!! Nice safety lesson at HQ and then a shuttle to the buggies. Charlie C. was our trip leader. He led us on some great dirt tracks with a view of the city and some fighter jets overhead too. The buggies track nicely on the sand and we never felt out of control. These little things can take a beating. Would recommend this tour to anyone!!

Another Trip Doesn’t Disappoint - Another adventure with SunBuggy. Good time as always. Jimmy got us out and rolling through the desert. Big Mike got us from the Strip to the office. Great company and employees. Must try in Vegas. Bring old shoes and clothes you don’t care about getting dusty.

Fun business outing - Ted K gave us a fun and safe trip. Great way to spend the afternoon. Would recommend if you go in the winter to wear several layers as it does get chilly with the wind!

4 person dune buggy in the desert - My whole family enjoyed this experience. I was driver the whole time and my wife and teenaged sons enjoyed the ride in the 4 passenger Dune Buggy. Our guide Josh took us on a fun path up and down hills and at a great pace. The whole ride was safe and fun since the buggies are able to handle all of the bumps. Thanks to Claude for picking us up and returning us to our hotel. He has some entertaining stories.

Do not recommend this experience... - Pick up at hotel was well coordinated with driver calling us directly. The check in, safety briefing and waiver signing process was smooth. There was then another trip out to the dunes to begin our ride. The dune buggies were very poorly-maintained with tire treads that were practically gone, etc. It was exactly 17 minutes of driving until our first stop where we had a chance to take pics and change drivers. We didn't realize that this time was burning our hour of driving time, because once we got restarted there was only about another 15 minutes of driving before we ended up back in the parking area for the drive back to the shop then back to the strip. 4 hours of time for about 35 minutes of driving for $350 per person!?! Not a good value at all. Other companies appear to have better equipment and prices so would recommend checking those out first.

Could have been perfect if vehicles were better maintained - Really liked the cool custom dune buggies, and the staff were all very nice and working hard. That being said our experience was unfortunately plagued with numerous mechanical issues. First our guide’s car broke down and we had to wait for a replacement. Then my car started stalling out so I swapped with our guide. Then the throttle line broke on my brother’s car and we had to wait for another car to be delivered.
Our guide Johnson was very good and did the best with the bad hand he was dealt.
Ultimately huge potential here but the cars need some serious maintenance. The fact that we didn’t even get a credit or anything was further salt in the wound. I would not return here until they get their cars in good shape and don’t send out cars on the brink of failure.

Their buggy broke, we didn't get to ride, and they wouldn't refund my money! - I purchased a ride on a four person buggy in advance of a trip to Vegas. I needed a four person buggy because I had three minors with me. Five minutes into the ride the buggy broke down, so we waited 15-20 minutes while you brought another buggy to us. That buggy didn't work either, so your team drove us back to your office because you had no other buggy to offer us. When I requested a refund I was told that you don't give refunds, but would only give us a credit. A credit does me no good because I don't live in Vegas. So, not only did you waste an entire afternoon of my vacation, but you insisted that I pay for it. I was not cancelling on you, you "cancelled" on me. After arguing with your manager days later I was finally given a refund. I understand that equipment will break, but how your people managed the situation was inexcusable. I have already told other friends visiting Vegas about my experience, which I'm sure has cost you additional business. Hopefully you'll treat future customers differently.
