Las Vegas Downtown is a must see! - This was such an interesting tour….Kelly, our tour guide, was fantastic! Well worth taking the trip downtown to learn about and see the history of the ‘original’ Las Vegas. Kelly brings the revitalization to light and to life. We ate at the famous Pizza Rock by chef Tony Gemignani who wrote The Pizza Bible.

Exceptional Tour… Really!!! - Best tour my wife and I have had in a number of years. Guide is exceptionally knowledgeable and presents very well. Subject matter is not widely known but incredibly interesting. This is the “REST OF THE STORY" of the birth pangs and development of an iconic American city.

Knowledgeable, enthusiastic guide - Kelly was passionate about the history of Downtown Las Vegas and did a great job sharing information and stories. I'm not particularly fond of Vegas, however I did enjoy the tour very much, found it interesting and would recommend it. The headsets worked very well, allowing him to be heard clearly above the surrounding city noise.

Highly recommend - Our guide Kelly was very informative, respectful, engaging, and knowledgeable of the historic downtown Las Vegas. We booked this tour on our first day in town. Kelly taught us so much about Las Vegas that we would have never known otherwise. It really made us appreciate certain things for the rest of our trip. And I enjoyed the ear pieces that we got to wear so that everyone could hear no matter how close they were to Kelly.

A walk through Vegas living history - I'm a Vegas local, writer, and historian - and this tour was still full of knowledge and hidden spots that were new to me. Kelly's tour made Downtown Vegas feel like a living museum. You finish Downtown, a short walk from the Mob Museum, which makes for a terrific Part 2 of a deep dive into Vegas living history. Note: The coupons for local businesses are valuable, so it's ideal to book this early in your trip so you can use them.

Interesting walk round the sights of old Las Vegas. - Our guide was hospitable, inclusive as well as being passionate and knowledgeable about the area, it's inception and history. Who knew there are 155,000 hotel rooms in Vegas or that the Golden Nugget has a shark tank in the pool area with a water slide running through it. The tour meets at The Plaza Hotel and Casino, which has a crazy automated horseracing games inside - definitely worth a look before the tour starts. On the negative side, Fremont street, which has been much improved over the last few years, is still a bit seedy. My clothes smelled so badly of weed when I got back to the hotel, I had to get changed and there are a lot of homeless people. It's not a place I'd rush back to.
