Highlights
  • Fremont Street Experience - Meet your guide in downtown Las Vegas to begin your walking tour, during which you’ll hear your guide’s commentary via provided earphones. You won’t want to miss a word about this iconic area known as Glitter Gulch, famous for its old neon signs, classic Vegas casinos and easy-going party atmosphere.

Start the former site of the Union Pacific station, which dates back to Vegas’ humble beginnings. Walk along Fremont Street and hear stories about its many transformations, from the peak of the casino years to a downturn in popularity to its revitalization into one of Sin City’s current hotspots once again.

  • Vegas Vic - Famous Neon Cowboy Sign - See sights like Vegas Vic, watch people zoom by on the 100-foot-high (30-meter) Slotzilla zipline, listen to live music and be wowed by the 4-block-long LED video screen made up of 12.5 million lights.
  • Golden Nugget Casino - Check out only-in-Vegas attractions like a swimming pool with a shark tank in the middle, the ‘world’s largest golden nugget, and a display of $1 million in cash
  • Downtown Container Park - You’ll then make your way to Fremont East, a new district of restaurants, shops and bars that some call a Vegas version of Greenwich Village. This is where you’ll find locals and in-the-know visitors hanging out until the early morning hours. Your tour ends at the Downtown Container Park, an open-air shopping and dining plaza partially made out of recycled shipping containers. From here, you are free to continue your night out in Vegas on your own.

Total walking distance is less than 1 mile (1.6 km); throughout the tour, you may purchase food and beverages at bars and restaurants you pass, but please note that your guide will not wait for you if you are stuck in long lines.

A Beautiful hotel that will make the best of your stay. - I had the opportunity to stay at a rennevated 2 bed room ar the Rio hotel for 6 days the first week of February. It started with a very bad start at a downtown hotel and when I called my niece staying athe Rio for help in getting myself and my daughter out of the downtown hotel, We both walked into the room at the Rio and we looked at each other saying "My God I think we've died and gone to Heaven". The room was beautiful, it was bright and welcoming. There was a full floor to cieling to floor window on one complete wall facing the south, which was into the mountains. They were beautiful and at night the window was full of the Las Vegas gorgeous lights. The room itself was spacious. It had 2 Queen beds, the sitting room had a beautiful couch which made into a queen bed and also had a chase lounge. Infront of the couch we had a 55 inch tv. The bathrooom had a large closet, a largespace with a marble counter top a sink and to large mirrors before entering the bathroom with another sink and mirror with a walk in shower with bottles of shampoo, coditioner, and body wash. Besides there amenities the hotel offered valet parking with very kind and helpful attendents. This also included bellhops. The casino was bright and had many resturants that were reasonable priced with attendents who were friendly and helpful. the gambling area was also well lit, with numerus machines, the casino area was not smokey, people were friendly and not rowdy, Security was statoned by the elevators. This was a beautiful hotel and casino just a short walk to the strip. I would deffinately at the Rio again and will recommend to anyone I know traveling to Las Vegas. It also appeared to be family friendly as I saw many children with their parents coming and going from the hotel.

Must-do-experience - It was an amazing experience to walk through ‘Old Las Vegas’ where it all began. We had a super nice guide who told a lot of lovely details and knew a lot about the city. Downtown is even worth to explore than the strip is - and with the walking tour you’re getting a Downtown expert. Also you get valuable tips from your guide regarding restaurant, bars, hotel, .. (we tried 2 restaurant tips and it was delicious). Fully recommend this tour :)

Everyone should do this tour! - My fiance and I ended up getting a private tour which made for a great experience. This was actually the first thing we did when we got to Vegas so it was awesome to learn about the History of Vegas and some fun tips and tricks about Vegas as well. We loved our tour guide he was super knowledgeable and so kind. We stayed on the strip but the next time we come to Vegas we totally plan to stay downtown now! I would recommend this tour to everyone!

A must when in Vegas - One of the best walking tours we have done. Our host and guide Kelly was just perfect. Great pace, easy to keep up with. Great for education and history. Travel back to the roots of Las Vegas and right up to present day with the revitalization of downtown Vegas. One major plus is that Kelly hands out head sets so that we do not have to compete with surrounding noise. Put them on and just listen to our tour guide. Tour is also accessible for those with mobility issues. ( wheelchairs ) Thanks Kelly, will pass this on for sure. Murray and Cathy

Wish We Hadn't Left It To Our Last Night! - This was such an enjoyable tour that the only thing we were disappointed about was not doing it sooner! There is so much now to see in Downtown Las Vegas that you end up wondering why you bother staying on the Strip. As our excellent guide Kelly said, the Strip spends $10m a month on advertising, so unless you take the time to seek out the revitalised Downtown and all it has to offer, you probably won't hear about it. It's such good fun here with great live music, bars, restaurants, casinos, hotels and museums, that we left saying next time we're in Vegas we will 100% stay here, probably at the Golden Nugget!

Great tour - amazing sights !! Very knowledgable guide. - Excellent comms prior to meet up. Guide ( Richard) was very punctual. Really informative talk and insight into the history of Las Vegas. Showed us some amazing sights ! Fremont Street on a Saturday evening is unreal and so alive ! Had photo taken with $1,000,000😀😀. Richard was kind enough to finish the tour at the restaurant we were eating at. Would have benefitted perhaps from headphones as Fremont St is very noisy.
