The Classroom and the Simulator

As a former professional athlete, I’ve always been drawn to the thrill of speed and the rush of adrenaline. So when I heard about the Dream Racing experience in Las Vegas, I knew I had to try it. My fiancée and I arrived at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, ready to dive into the world of supercars.

The day began with a classroom session led by Vinny, our instructor. He was calm, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. He walked us through the basics of car racing, explaining how to accelerate, brake, and navigate the turns. We reviewed the track layout, discussing which gears to use and where to brake and accelerate. It was a crash course in racing theory, and I was eager to put it into practice.

After the classroom session, I had the option to try the indoor Dream Racing simulator or participate in demo laps with a racing instructor. Vinny recommended the demo laps, and I’m glad I took his advice. The demo laps in a Maserati Levante gave me a real feel for the track and the car’s capabilities. It was a thrilling experience, and I learned to trust the vehicle’s grip around the turns, something that street driving doesn’t prepare you for.
