Join us for an ATV adventure tour from Las Vegas to the mysterious Hidden Valley and Primm region, no previous experience required. Leave the concrete jungle of Las Vegas behind and enjoy the thrill of navigating through the dusty paths in the McCullough Mountain range, Hidden Valley and across the Roach Dry Lakebed, all on state-of-the-art equipment!

Las Vegas - Your day begins with complimentary air-conditioned transportation from your hotel to the tour departure point at Jean, NV (about 20 -30 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip).

Due to the COVID-19, guests can self-drive to our staging area in Jean, NV. At this time our complimentary shuttle will be available under a first come first serve basis (reduced by 50% occupancy) based on group size and travel partners.

Seven Magic Mountains - Along the way you will see the Seven Magic Mountains, a desert art installation featuring seven painted boulder totems by Ugo Rondinone.
Jean - After a brief, thorough safety briefing, set out on a thrilling off-road adventure through the Hidden Valley National Monument and McCullough Mountain Range. Enjoy the rugged desert landscape as you maneuver through trails, ride up to mountain overlooks and zoom around legendary off-road racetracks.
Then, get ready for one of the most thrilling ATV off-road experiences of your life! Your two-hour ATV ride takes you through the historic Hidden Valley National Monument, next to extinct lava beds, through and the rugged McCullough Mountain Range to the Primm Valley overlook. Travel exciting trails around large boulder formations that make up part of the Mojave Desert. What a ride!

Your tour ends with air-conditioned transportation back to your pick up location.

Please Note: All ATV riders must be at least 16 years old and have photo ID.

Additional Information

No license is required to ride an ATV (with proof of Age such as Birth Cert. or ID with proof of age)
Clothing: Pants or shorts are acceptable for riding. Summer months may be vary hot so please dress accordingly.
Footwear: No open toed shoes will be permitted to ride (for safety)
Please remember your sun block and or necessary medications as you will be riding in the desert
Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult
Due to the nature of this tour and the safety of all guests, the tour operator reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who are intoxicated, under the influence or show signs of intoxication or drug use. If, as a result, your tour is canceled, you will not be entitled to a refund.
Please Note: All ATV riders must be at least 16 years old.
Tours run rain or shine, at suppliers’ sole discretion.
Participants are responsible to pay for all damages they incur or equipment lost while on tour.

Due to COVID-19, you will no longer be stopping in Primm, NV for lunch for the health and safety of all guests
Our helmets goggles and gloves go through a 3-step cleaning process All gear are washed in a bleach/detergent water solution followed with spray of alcohol 99% isopropyl We are going above and beyond what is required disinfecting our equipment and gear Your health and safety is our main concern

Desert morning treat - We were so impressed with Glenn and the great time we had on this trip. One first-time UTV rider in our group but the instructions were so good that there were no problems at all. We got to see great desert landscapes, a dry lake bed where we could have a little (safe) speed, and a trip up a mountain to a great lookout spot. Everything was very professional and we would go with them again in a heartbeat.

Hidden Valley ATV tour - As an outdoor and power sport enthusiast I didn’t know what to expect. The experience was more for my wife and 18 y/o sons, but wow was I impressed. The machines were ungoverned. The scenery was exceptional. The length of the ride was more than I expected. And our guide, Harley, was about as awesome as they come. We had an absolute blast! Thank you!

Great family activity! - Excellent activity for the family! Organized, safe, and fun! Harley was amazing— very knowledgeable about the environment and the machines. Tour through the dessert up the mountainside was great scenery with awesome photo opportunities. All of the staff were friendly and helpful.

Awesome desert ride and guides! - This experience was awesome! From booking to confirming pickup location and time to the pickup and explanation of the experience to the ride itself. Cody and Glen were great Friendly, helpful and great guides. The ride itself was fantastic. Lots of fun riding out in the desert and stopping several places for the views and taking pics. We got some great shots and Cosy took pics of us as well. The ATVs were in great shape and fun to ride. Highly recommend this experience. The 2 hour+ ride gave us the time we needed to really experience the machines and the desert. Do it!

Great trip for ALL skill levels - From the start this was a first class experience. Our guide took myself and my wife (who’s never rides ever in her life). And by the end of the tour she was completely comfortable and ready to continue riding in the future. The views are awesome and the riding was great. They brought 3 guides to accommodate the different levels and different people within the group. I was blown away with the professionalism and just overall experience. Felt like I was riding with my long lost friend. Ryan and Maria thank you very much for your tour and taking the time to make our honeymoon even better.

Another great time with American Adventure Tours - I used American Adventure before and had an awesome time. My girlfriend and I had an awesome time on the ATVs with our tour guides Mike & Cody. They did a really great job and we had some good conversations to and from the desert location. The views were awesome and had a heck of a great time!! I’ll be sure to use you guys again on my next trip out to Vegas

Cody and Glen for the win! - This experience topped my whole trip to Las Vegas! My husband and I rode the RZR and had an absolute blast! Guided by the fantastic Cody and Glen we had such an epic ride. Right from the beginning of the whole process, booking was a breeze, communication regarding pick up was so efficient, the professional yet super free spirited professionalism from Cody and Glen to the concierge type service while on our ride. The trail was so beautiful and was my first time in the desert. I immediately started thinking how I can spend more time here doing these trail rides. I think I’ve found my niche! I appreciated all the details to ice cold water provided, to seeking out beautiful viewpoints for our capturing. I loved hearing all the info or tips surrounding the area from Cody and Glen. I kinda wished I skipped the whole Vegas strip part and spent more time playing in the Mojave! Thank you Glen and Cody for being exceptional guides! I’m telling all my Canadian friends about guys! I hope to see you in the future.
