Disappointed, but still a fan - As longtime Eddie Griffin fans, we were genuinely looking forward to the show—but unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. While there were a few humorous moments, the overall performance lacked energy and engagement. We’ve seen Eddie at his best, delivering extended sets filled with spontaneous brilliance, but this show felt flat and underwhelming. Throughout the performance, he sipped drinks on stage—not a problem in itself, as we were hoping it might loosen things up and spark his usual wit. Sadly, that wasn’t the case. He even noted the smaller audience, which may have contributed to a less enthusiastic delivery, but for $209 VIP tickets, we anticipated a more entertaining experience. The VIP section offered no added value—no servers, no perks—and the atmosphere felt more like a high school auditorium than a premium venue. Eddie, we still believe in your talent, but this one missed the mark. We hope to see you back in your element soon.

👏🏼WORST 👏🏼 SHOW 👏🏼EVER! - Worst show I've ever been to. Antisemitic comments were made and NOT in a joking manner. People walked out, it was so bad. I go to a lot of comedy shows, and this show should not even be considered "comedy." It was not funny AT ALL. Don't waste your money on this.

Not for me - We were disappointed with the experience. The comedian’s jokes were outdated and offensive — they haven’t aged well at all. Additionally, one of the female organizers was extremely rude, which made the event feel unwelcoming. Unfortunately, the drinks were also poorly made. Overall, not an experience we’d recommend.

Save your money and avoid this train wreck! - I attended this comedy show a few days ago with family. I’m not very familiar with Eddie Griffin but figured it would be a decent show. I was wrong. From the moment we arrived, it was disorganized. The line to get in was ridiculous, he was 30 minutes late, and then they forced you to place your cell phone in a bag which they locked. Apparently Griffin doesn’t want anyone recording his show which is laughable given how bad it was. At the end of the show, our bags were unlocked. How ridiculous. After a 15 minute montage of Griffin’s supposed greatest comedy clips and movie scenes, he finally walked on stage. He started out okay, making jokes about Diddy and Shannon Sharpe. But then he went completely in a different direction. He spent about 15 minutes boasting about his genitalia and inviting women in the audience to come see him after the show to try it out. Then it turned into a pro-Trump rally where he forced his political views down the audience’s throats while mocking Joe Biden falling and Kamala Harris’ looks. Additionally, he was fighting with people in the audience, calling them Bs and threatening to have them thrown out. He gave a middle finger to anyone who was offended and laughed that we weren’t getting a refund. His jokes were racist, homophobic, sexist, and just plain not funny. There’s a way to bring race and politics into comedy while still being light hearted and funny, Dave Chapelle does a great job of this, Eddie Griffin does not. At one point Griffin admitted he doesn’t write his jokes and everything is improv. Well, it showed. He was all over the place and not funny. The silence from the audience was very telling. Half the theater was empty so I’m thinking people are finally getting wise to how bad his show is. I wish I had gone to any other show besides this one, it really put a sour note on the trip.please save your money and peace of mind and avoid this show. Miracle mile mall should do better and improve the quality of their shows.

Horrible “comedy” - If I could give this zero stars I would. From what started as a comedy show turned into a political rant and support for trump and bashing LGBTQ+ people. It wasn’t funny. It makes sense why they make you put your phone into a locked bag; because I couldn’t believe the stupidity coming out of his mouth. By the end it was just cringy and uncomfortable.

Feel like going back to the 80's with all the hate and nonsense. - I always loved Eddie's movies and used to like his standup. However, after going to this show, he has lost a fan. Not that he will care. The show started late, which I have seen is common. I don't have a problem with his more adult comedy. The problem is that he spews racist, homophobic, and transphobic hate throughout the night. If that is your thing, then I guess this show is for you. Luckily, I got these tickets for free, but I still want my money back. He needs to grow up and evolve his comedy if he wants to become popular again. I guess there is a reason he has been blacklisted in Hollywood and why the Sahara dropped his act. I hope other people have a better experience than we did but be prepared to be let down and offended.
