Las Vegas – Zion National Park

Zion National Park - This tour departs Sundays April - Oct. Private lodging ticket type is available to book daily.

After departing Las Vegas with your guide, cross the border into Utah and arrive at Zion National Park, where massive canyon walls and red sandstone cliffs ascend toward a brilliant blue sky. Experience the beauty of Zion however you’d like during your time here – walks and hikes are available for every fitness level.

The Narrows - Or do the Narrows, a popular hike that’ll have you walking through the river, surrounded by dramatic canyon walls (weather permitting).

Emerald Pools - More relaxed options include strolling along the Emerald Pools trail, which takes you past waterfalls and other beautiful scenery. Or discover the Temple of Sinawava, see the Great White Throne or the Weeping Rock, or visit the interpretive Human History Museum.

Bryce National Park

Bryce Canyon National Park - After breakfast, enjoy a short drive from Zion to Bryce Canyon National Park, also in Utah. Stroll along the canyon rim and marvel at the park’s unique sandstone spires – known as hoodoos – that rise dramatically from the natural amphitheater. Stay up on top to enjoy the panoramic views, or hike down into the hoodoos for an up close experience of this fascinating and unique landscape.

Arches and Canyonlands National Park

Arches National Park - After breakfast travel to Arches National Park, home to over 2,000 natural stone arches. You’ll take a hike up to Delicate Arch, the most recognized freestanding natural arch at 65-foot (20 meter) tall.

Canyonlands National Park - Next head to Canyonlands National Park located near Moab, Arizona. Here you’ll enjoy colorful landscapes which were formed by the Colorado and Green Rivers. Listen to stories of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid who used the canyons to hide from law in the late 1800s and visit Moab, the adventure capital of Utah.

Take an optional sunset Hummer tour and see the desert landscape come to life, or an optional canyoneering adventure and explore the sandstone cliffs.

Arches and Canyonlands National Park

Arches National Park - On this day you’ll have more time to explore Arches National Park on your own.

Canyonlands National Park - Or spend more time at Canyonlands. the option is up to you on how you would like to spend this day.

Monument Valley

Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park - Enjoy breakfast, and then hop in the minibus for the drive past Lake Powell to one of the country’s most iconic locations – Monument Valley. Home to red rock formations that rise dramatically from the stark land, Monument Valley has been the background for many western movies over the years and is home to the Navajo Native Americans. Explore the valley on an offroad Jeep tour led by a local Navajo guide. When the sun goes down, gaze up at the sky and be awed by the number of stars you can see without any city lights.

Grand Canyon with optional visit to Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend

Antelope Canyon - After breakfast and a short visit to a Navajo trading post in the morning, enjoy an optional visit to Antelope Canyon, the world’s most famous slot canyon, followed by a scenic walk to see Horseshoe Bend before traveling to the Grand Canyon!

Grand Canyon South Rim - Follow the mighty Colorado River through the Painted Desert to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Have options for seeing the park: stroll along the rim at sunset, take a hike deep into the canyon, or soak in the views from one of the rim-side cafes. For an additional expense, you can take a thrilling helicopter ride over the canyon, which allows you to take in bird’s-eye views of Kaibab National Forest, the Colorado River and many of the canyon’s famous ridges and formations, such as the Dragon’s Corridor.

Book this trip for a phenomenal, life-changing experience! - I cannot recommend this trip enough. It was the best I've ever been on! Bindlestiff took us to so many places and saw so much and yet, it didn't feel rushed at all. The magnitude of National and State parks that we covered was remarkable, and I thoroughly enjoyed the time spent in each. The group was very small- only 6 people. As a solo traveler, this was perfect because it allowed us to get to know each other and the friendly vibes felt so natural (no loneliness here!) Besides the sights, the obvious best thing about this trip was our guide, Joseph. He was the perfect balance of knowledgeable and fun, always making every effort to answer our questions, provide his own anecdotes and accommodate any of our special requests or preferences. Joseph is incredible and a true professional. The accomodation throughout the trip was excellent- all my needs were met and exceeded. Most hotels provided breakfast and, in the few incidences that they didn't, readily accessible alternatives were available. At first, I was concerned that picnic lunches would reduce the amount of time that we had to explore the sights. This wasn't the case at all. Joseph ensured that all lunches were well-catered and smoothly run. Originally, I'd planned to organize and self-navigate a trip similar to this all by myself. I am extremely glad that this plan didn't work out. Bindlestiff is an amazing company. If you are on the fence about booking this trip, don't be! You, like me, won't regret it for a single second.

Great adventure trip with some hiking. - Great adventure trip. Guide Joseph is personable and attentive to the needs and quirks of each traveler. His extensive knowledge of the region's geology, history, animals and plant life enhanced our incredible trip. He gave us recommendations for hikes commensurate with individual abilities in Zion and Bryce Canyon national Parks. Joseph led hikes in the spectacular Arches and Canyonlands National Parks where we spent 2 nights in Moab, Utah. Some of our group chose to relax in Moab on the second day, while the rest of the group hiked different trails for more amazing views. Next were the stunning views of Monument Valley and Navajo Nation followed by a snowy Grand Canyon. Optional side trips: Antelope Canyon should not be missed. The Navajo taco dinner was tasty and informative. The hummer tour was unremarkable. Unfortunately, weather grounded the Grand Canyon helicopters.

Amazing Tour - We thoroughly enjoyed the 7-day tour of the US southwest . We love the destinations included in the tour, every place we visited is on our bucket list. I wanted to pinch myself every day that I visited those iconic and beautiful places as shown in my photos below. We enjoyed all the extra, optional experiences that were suggested by the tour guide. They added more fun to the tour. The Hummer tour in Moab, Utah was one of the optional experiences and it was a blast! Not only it’s fun, you get to see the amazing scenery during the sunset. One previous review mentioned he or she was forced to participate in the Navajo taco dinner in Monument Valley. That comment is not true. You have a choice not to do that and the guide can make a different arrangement for you. The optional Navajo taco dinner is one of the highlights of the tour that we will remember for a long time. It would be a shame not to have this cultural experience when you get to meet Navajo people when you are in the Navajo Nation! Our tour guide, John did a fantastic job. He was full of enthusiasm and energy. He kept the tour well organized and always provided information we needed. We highly recommend the tour.

One of our best trips - Our guide John made the week enjoyable. Each stop was well thought out. Only criticism would be that we ate the same lunch each day.

The Spectacular Southwest US! - This was our family’s first guided trip, and we chose the camping option (ages 52, 50, 13, 12). It exceeded our expectations! Despite a complex itinerary we never once had to think about how to get there, how much time to spend at each place, where to park, what to see, where to stay, where or what to eat - that was all planned for us. There was no marital or family tension and could just truly sit back and enjoy the ride! I truly believe we did more and saw more than we ever would have on our own. And special experiences like moonrises and sunrises were a big bonus. Our guide John was an enthusiastic and capable outdoorsman. He made sure the trip met the needs of the various guests - campers and hotellers alike, with a wide range of ages and physical abilities. There were thoughtful touches like road-trip playlists, moonrise and sunrise viewings, pit stops at roadside stops to support Native American craftsmen, and more. This is a beautiful part of the US - each park more beautiful than the last, but each one unique and wonderful. Highly recommend!

An incredible but packed trip - This has been one of the best travel of our life. The landscapes are all breathtaking and all the activities are extraordinary. The only negative point is that this is a lot to do in 7 days and we would have like to spend more time in each national park.

Grand Canyon sunset or sunrise not included - The 7 day SW highlights tour (Oct 22 departure) was great with the exception of the following: -it did not include "Grand Canyon sunset or sunrise" as indicated on the itinerary. This was a MAJOR disappointment -on day 5 there was an optional Navajo taco dinner which I was not interested in. However, no alternative for obtaining a meal that evening was provided and I was "forced" to go along with the taco dinner.

What you need to know before taking this tour - People are cramped into a minivan, only one person who was responsible for everything including driving, doing grocery for cold lunches, serving, loading/unloading luggages, and providing instruction for hiking so you are not lost. The last two days of breakfast are not included which is not clarified during booking. The lodgings are not definitely 3 stars, they are all 2 stars lodge. The booking in Viator is not very clear on what are actually included and excluded, we ended paying a lot more on foods, and tips which are not specified in the beginning. Many surprises. People attended in this tour are very nice, helping the tour guide to do many stuffs. I understand this is a lot for one person to handle. Although the tour was a good experience, it is just too expensive to add on top of what we already paid. I just felt cheated.
