Walking tour - Nice walk around the old town. Just enough information to tell you about the history of the place. Our guide was super friendly 😀 I would recommend it to anyone who would like a short tour, pointing out the must see buildings.

Tour of Old Town Las Palmas - Very dedicated guide who conveys the individual sights with a lot of fun, with abundant historical background. You can tell she is proud to be from Gran Canaria. Much learned. Highly recommended.

Las Palmas walking tour - Hard to find the meeting point because the address changed and/or it doesn’t match the pinpoint on the map.

A delightful and informative stroll around the old quarter of Las Palmas - (I'm afraid I've forgotten our guide's name) but she was delightful, knowledgeable and helpful and helped me with my Spanish studies by pointing out some local, historical signs and challenging me to interpret them. Of particular interest was the Calle de los Balcones and the area in front of the catedral. Also, it was so easy to book through TripAdvisor We went back the next day for lunch at a wonderful little Italian restaurant nearby called La Dolce Vita in Millares Torres

It was a good day out under the sun - We walk a lot today in the old city part. The lady tell us about big old houses and balconies made of wood. I see the Santa Ana Cathedral, it is so big and very old stones. The ground is all rocks, my legs get a bit tired but it is okay. She talk about Christopher Columbus and how he stop here long time ago. We have a cold drink after in a small shop, very quiet and nice. I take many pictures of the colorful walls for my family.

Depends on who your guide is - It was a Spanish and English tour. The guide spoke a lot more to the Spanish speakers than the English speakers. We got a 1-2 minute explanation of sites while it was twice as long plus better question/ answers interaction. To be fair, there was an English speaking couple who questioned and added their own version to everything she said. (I am not sure who was right or wrong about the history). Her voice didn’t carry to those of us on the edge plus we felt like second class citizens being English speakers.

Good value, instructive. Would have liked longer tour and pay more. - Tour lasted one hour; somewhat short to cover most of the old town. Learned new facts, historical and present, but due to time limitation superficial. Would like two hour tour with 15 minutes rest halfway.

Top destination to celebrate Christmas. - Lots of sun, quiet relaxing holiday. Old town of Las Palmas is definitely worth a visit as well as the beach and its promenade. Don't forget the market in Puerto de Morgan.

Very short and shared... - Very short and shared with English speakers so the explanations of the guide (very professional) were done in 2 languages with the consequent loss of time

Overcrowded and too much wasted time. - The meeting place was dirty and nowhere clean to sit and wait for the start. When we finally started, there were 42 people in our tour. It was overcrowded and multilingual Spanish and English. It was a large group so took a lot of space in the narrow roads and the guide spoke 2/3rds of the time in Spanish, so we spent a lot of time standing around waiting. At each stop the lady guide asked us if we knew why or what about landmarks, which we of course knew nothing. This questioning of us at every stop became annoying. After twenty minutes we gave up and left the tour very disappointed. The first time we have ever done so.
