Fantastic full afternoon/ evening experience giving a true glimpse of all that Gran Canaria has to offer! - Great experience covering around 220 miles through the course of the excursion - Gran Canaria’s volcanic history - a trio of calderas, over the nine hour trip. Well worth the £79 per person, (we would have paid more as this was great value!) with eight of us in the group. Including local tasting of traditional fare (honey rum a must try!) and a traditional lunch which catered for our dietary requirements. Extremely knowledgable and enthusiastic host who brought the whole day alive. Walking shoes and determination required for the approx 2 mile hike which was rocky under foot at ever increasing altitude and steep at times through Roque Nublo national park… but the views were worth every step! Finishing with a glorious sunset above the clouds this was a great snapshot of Gran Canaria geology, history and present. Highly recommended excursion 👍

Another wonderful tour with Climbo - After the Red Canyon tour this was our 2nd tour with Climbo. Again we were a small group of 8 persons travelling in a minibus. Our tour guide of the day was Daylos. He's quite energetic and a vibrant person. He told us a lot about the history and the life on the island. We never felt bored. The spots we visited were beautiful and the hike was amazing with a lot of photo moments. Daylos definitely knew the right spots to get the best shots. We even got lucky to see the Teide on Tenerife. And later on, while we were catching a good spot to enjoy the sunset, we got lucky to see one of the last sheep sheppards on the island managing 600 sheep from one side of the road to the other. What a magical unforeseen moment. Also the lunch and local product tasting were very tasteful. We are grateful for this great day. Highly recommendable. On both tours we did with Climbo we were dropped off in the order we were picked up. So all participants spend about the same amount in time for picking up and dropping off people. Highly appreciated.

I would do this again! - Daylos, our driver/guide, was amazing! He made the whole experience so enjoyable. We were in a small bus with 7 people and we met with another vehicle, 8 people, for the day. They had to change the trip for an alternative, as the trail had been closed due to high temperatures and risk of fire. The day was still great and went on a shorter walk round caves and visited a local village. If we came back again I would definitely book back on this tour, and hope for lower temperatures, as the day with Daylos and David with their knowledge of the island and local areas is well worth the day. I can't wait to see the pictures. The tasting was lovely interesting with the different local products and even after the main part had finished there were still other items we were given to taste. If we had to pick a low point of the day, which is difficult, my husband didn't enjoy the lunch as much as he had hoped as although tasty ot did not have as much meat as he would have liked. This is definitely a trip I would recommend as, although the weather is out of everyone's control and we missed the volcano walk we were looking forward too, we got to see other amazing aspects of the island with enthusiast people who loved showing us!

Absolute highlight - The tour was the absolute highlight of the holiday. Explore the rugged mountains and volcanic craters in a small group, marvel at the caves of the indigenous people in the mountains and in between absolutely delicious food of local specialties, it was just great. Finally, a breathtaking sunset against a picturesque mountain backdrop. The guides did a great job, I can only recommend this to everyone.
