Highly recommend for winter sun at this time of year. - Unexpectedly exceptional weather with temperatures in mid to high 20's, made our trip here very enjoyable. The hotel, Santa Catalina, was also a plus - although the restaurants were a bit pricey. We ate out and found a number of very good and reasonable restaurants. Las Palmas was busy, but extremely friendly and clean, with local transport readily available and cheap. The carnival was well worth seeing.

Conditionally recommended - 25€ for 1.5 hours with little explanation, a lot of annoying music and barely recognizable sights is too expensive and not worth it. However, if you are not good on your feet, you at least have the opportunity to be driven through the city and get to know a little of it. But 25€ is a pretty steep price. The music played through headphones (mine worked but many were taped over) on the journey is annoying and the few explanations were brief. For the most part, I did not recognize the sights. I have already done several hop on hop off tours and have never been as disappointed as in Las Palmas.

Not Good Value for Money - In my opinion please don't waste your money - We paid 50 euros for 2 tickets and the hop on hop off just seemed to whiz through the streets. The headphone jacks didn't work so not able to listen to any commentary so maybe we missed out but the only interesting stop was maybe the cathedral, we got off there but thought it was a little scruffy and not well signposted so decided to get on the next available bus back to the marina.

Don’t Bother - Not enough vehicles, very long ques, got Cunard shuttle instead so tickets were a waste of time. I couldn’t possibly have waited so long in those long ques

Complete waste of time and money - We have used City Sightseeing in other Spanish and Portuguese cities without any problems but this tour around Las Palmas was a disaster. The tour itself is not that interesting, as a journey, but the main problem was that although tickets had been sold to fill the bus with passengers, around 30% of the audio jacks were not functioning. Many output sockets were taped over. Others just didn't work. So, we had no commentary - at all. In addition, the bus was dirty and generally decrepit. The bus should not have been in service. The trip cost 50 euros for two which is quite expensive. I asked City Sightseeing for a refund and they offered 5 euros - 10%. A full refund would have been the only satisfactory outcome.

TO AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! DIRTY BUSES and 1 OF 3 SPEAKERS DO NOT WORK - Totally lousy, dirty buses, 1 out of 3 speakers don't work. They tell you the bus arrives in 10 minutes, it arrives 45 minutes later and they make you change buses at the 2nd stop. The circuit is uninteresting. Better to visit on foot. We have used Car City in other cities and they are the worst we have experienced. To flee.

Unreliable, expensive and a scam - The buses were not on time and unreliable, waited 30 minutes on the first bus, and the second stop we waited 60 minutes on a “every 40m bus route”. The app was horrible, the posted times were not accurate, and it was basically a guessing game. No times were posted on the website or any other place. The checkin agents were also snarky and unhelpful. Feel scammed, want a refund

Please do not waste your money - Complete waste of money - been on better park and ride bus journeys!! With more interesting views ! And to top it off women scanning tickets at the start was sooo rude !! Spoken to like a child she really should not be working in customer services ! Bus drivers friendly and helpful! So the 1 star that I had to put is for them 😊

Not so Gran bus tour - Absolutely awful experience, most of sockets for the earpieces don't work, staff couldn't care less once they have your money and to be honest there isn't much to see, could have been in Manchester City centre , the only difference was the shop signs are I Spanish, save your money and get a taxi to the old town.

Terrible Service in Las Palmas, Gran Canario - Terrible service for all the money it costs. Uncaring and defensive staff! Bus was over an hour later on Stop 3 and some guys walked away. Driver unapologetic. Holiday plans today were messed up. Several messages emailed to customer service but no reply.
