This tour is unique due that this is a combination of destination in the Southern part of Cebu. With the encounter with gentle giants of Oslob the Whaleshark it is once in a lifetime experience to see it upclose and after you get to see the Majestic view of Tumalog Falls with turquoise waters and it is one of the hotspot in the south this waterfall is not known for its impressive flow of water, it’s sheer height and width definitely impressed us. It’s definitely worth checking out if you are in Cebu, especially for those staying near Oslob!

and you will also able to visit Oslob Church and Cuartel Ruins are one of the oldest historical sites south of Cebu. The ruins are made out of the remains of a collapsed bell tower floor beside Oslob church. Worth the long trip - The trip is kind of a pain. 3am pickup, 6pm drop-off for 30 min of whale shark swimming, almost all of that time being driving and waiting. That being said, the main attraction makes it more than worth it. You get as close as you can imagine to the whale sharks. Some of the side attractions are nice enough as well - the sand bar and the waterfall.

Whale sharks - Love the whale sharks and the falls! It is totally worth it, in my opinion, to go with a tour for the whale sharks because it is so busy. The tour company was very organized and took good care of us. The water to see the sardines was cloudy, so not like the photo on the site for us but the boat captain did a good job of getting some good photos for us. The water was better for turtles, and the boat captain was great about finding them. I completely recommend renting a go pro, they will film and take photos for you, and you can just enjoy the experience. Great tour company.

Best of the best guides - Our duo brother and sister guides were professional, helpful, energetic, and, most importantly, respectful. This is the best tour for your hard earned bucks to encounter the Oslob Whale Shark watching (very close encounter) and Tumalog waterfalls.

pricey tour, but worth it totally - The tour started at 3am with a formula 1 race of all the vans going from Cebu city to Oslob. It was scary, but luckily no accident. The return trip was less dangerous. The tour includes not only whale shark watchin, Sumilon sandbar trip and amazingly beautiful Tumalog falls, but also has a stop at Cartel ruins and Simala church, which was not even listed in the itinerary. So you get to see many beautiful places in just one day. Very well organized, highly recommended. My only complaint is the lack of vegan options at lunch time carenderia.

Something you must do - Wonderful experience. Swimming next to whale sharks was unique. But the most amazing point of this excursion is Tumalog Falls. So clean waters, so wild landscape!!

Good, but no guiding - The Good: We got to see a lot in one day, and the driver also chose stopover points at popular places to get famous snacks in Cebu. It is a convenient way to travel having everything included in the package. Also, the guide was very nice to keep our stuff for us while we went swimming, so we did not have to worry about anything getting lost or stolen. Of course, the actual stops on the tour (seeing the whale sharks, Tumalog Falls, Cuartel Ruins, etc.) were wonderful and very worth the time! The Bad: I happened to be the only one who did not speak Tagalog on the tour, so the tour guide and everyone who was explaining things to us were speaking in pretty much exclusively in Tagalog. Had I not had someone from the tour group that I befriended translate for me, I would have been completely lost. I actually would not have minded this had the tour not been advertised as being in English. And lastly, I wish our guide had told us a bit about the ruins and the church that we were visiting. Generally, I expect a little more information to be given about each of the places on the tour (historical, modern context, significance of it, etc.). It seems more geared towards people taking pictures and not so much learning about the places. Overall, if you are interested in a relatively hassle-free tour of Oslob while staying in Cebu and are friendly, you will enjoy yourself and it is definitely still worth it. But if you wanted to learn a little bit more about each place, you should do your own research beforehand.

Disappointing - Local operator sucked. Insisted on communicating via WhatsApp, finally used Viator email when I told I didn't have one. Late pick up. Instructed to be in lobby before 3am, no ETA tho I requested one. Driver "forgot" snorkeling gears for Sumilon Island. Driver charged extra 100pesos/pp for hotel drop off. Then sarcastically suggested a tip. Niece almost fainted at the whale watching site so can't review the experience. Tour guide excellent in guiding us to the ambulance & medical personnel. Lastly, why were our fellow passengers charged only 1,700 pesos per person & I was charged $109 per person. Mind boggling difference. I don't think I'll use Viator ever again.
