Highlights
- Poudre Park - Located about 15 minutes away from downtown Ft. Collins and an hour away from Estes Park and Boulder. After arriving, check in with the Trip leader for the “Taste Trip” Class II-III. Please make sure you have shoes or sandals that will not fall off your feet (Crocs and flip flops are not allowed). Bootie shoes and wetsuits are available to rent if interested. Life jackets and helmets will be handed, you’ll watch an instructional safety video and we will all get into our rafting bus and drive 20 minutes up the Poudre Canyon to the put in. We will unload the rafts and the trip leader will direct rafters to their assigned raft. Additional instruction will be provided by each raft guide to their crew and answer any additional questions. Each rafter will use a paddle and follow the guides instructions to navigate Class II and III Whitewater. The Poudre River is not a float trip, it is exciting, and guests should arrive expecting to paddle and participate in the adventure. This trip is good for families with children as young as 7. Small Children are allowed to sit in the middle of the raft and hold on if interested. Come have fun and make some new memories with us!

Additional Information
Our whitewater adventures take place on Colorado’s singular Wild and Scenic River, meandering through the breathtaking Cache la Poudre Canyon. Because of this, the Forest Service oversees the quantity of Commercial Rafting Operators with allotted launch schedules and controls the volume of clientele during these sessions. Such limitations promote a more personal engagement with the environment while drifting through Roosevelt National Forest.

We are located in the lower level of Vern's Restaurant. Please circle around the building and park in the lower parking lot. The entrance is below our Rafting sign attached to the building and to the north of the outside dining patio of Vern's Restaurant.

So much fun rafting! - We loved our time with Wanderlust Adventures! Our charismatic trip leader was Colin, who was very helpful, extremely capable and fun. We did the Taste of Whitewater and a patron fell from the raft on the first leg of the trip. Colin was very attentive to the man and was able to assess his injury and provide help quickly.
Our river guide was George who was so fun, easy going and a very pleasant guy to be around. His laid-back style really gave us a wonderful impression of the local river folk. He provided a lot of insightful information about the river and its history, plus also recommended some restaurants and bars in the area. He also made it look very easy to navigate the river, despite our feeble rowing techniques.
We loved our photo package and will treasure those pictures forever. The package also included a couple of really great videos of our experience and was worth the cost.
Our only complaint is that it was over too soon! We would love to return someday for the Blast of Whitewater trip.

Excellent experience. Will do it again! - We had Paul as our guide and he was very knowledgeable and fun. We were a little nervous because this was my daughters first River run. She affirmed both came away asking if we can do it again and go to the next level.

Go here! - Lucas was our guide and we had an incredible time! He made it very welcoming to everybody in the family and made following directions very easy. We felt very safe the entire trip and had so much fun the whole time! Would recommend for any and everyone!

Tubular time - What an awesome time!
Murph was our guide and he did a fantastic job. Not only were we all laughing along the way….he also “spiced” things up with a lot of twists and turns. All of the guides were fun!

Great Guides…Beautiful Scenery - We had a blast! My husband and I took our 9 year old on her first white water adventure. Our guide Trinity was super with her and another child on our raft. The scenery was beautiful, the rapids were perfect for beginners and older children. Trinity as well as the other guides made this a very enjoyable and memorable excursion .
