Chilliwack - Approaching the small city of Chilliwack on the north side of the highway, with the smaller community of Sardis on the opposite side. During the gold rush era, 30,000 miners traveled through here on their way to the gold fields.

Abbotsford - As the Clearwater Road highway exit is passed, one might catch a glimpse of a 47-foot-tall raspberry public art sculpture on the south side of the highway.

Port Mann Bridge - Soon, the journey will take us across the Port Mann Bridge. This was a costly project aimed at alleviating traffic congestion. Opened in 1964, the original bridge spanned just over two kilometers across the Fraser River.
