Unforgettable Jungle Adventure with Incredible Guides - We had the most wonderful experience on the 3 day, 2 night orangutan trek with Sumatra Orangutan Treks. Amat and Azri were absolutely amazing—so knowledgeable, friendly, and always making sure we were safe and comfortable. Seeing orangutans in the wild was truly unforgettable, and the jungle itself was breathtaking. The food was delicious, fresh, and far beyond what we expected in the middle of the rainforest. Sleeping under the canopy with the sounds of nature all around was magical. Everything was so well organised, and the team made the whole adventure fun, memorable, and deeply special. Highly recommend!

3 days 2 night Jungle Adventure - Can’t fault this experience. Everything ran so smoothly, our guides Amat and Azri were amazingly knowledgeable and patient and the food was delicious throughout. We were so fortunate to see multiple orangutans and other animals and we loved the jungle taxi river ride at the end. Would highly recommend Sumatra Orangutan Treks to anyone!

Great trekking company - A great experience, really great and professional guides. The guest house has good facilities and a good restaurant. Nature is amazing and it is easy to see different types of free-ranging monkeys.

3 days 2 nights in the Jungle - We had overall such a great experience. Bukit Lawang is a small village, but with a Lovely atmosphere and beautiful nature around. Our accommodation was (especially for the low price) pretty good. The food in the restaurant is delicious as well. We did the 3 days and 2 nights jungle trekking and it was one of the best experiences I ever had. We saw plenty of monkeys everywhere in the jungle. Small Thomas leave monkeys, Pig Tail- and Long Tail Makakes, White handed Gibbon and of course the Orang-Utans. The trekking through the jungle can be rough sometimes, but we often did breaks so we had enough time to rest. In the afternoons we arrived at the campsite. There is no electricity so you need to bring a Powerbank for charging phone and the flashlight. The breakfast, lunch and dinner is prepared by the guides and totally delicious. Also vegetarian meals are possible. Coffee, tea, cookies and fruit are provided as well by the lovely crew. On day 3 we left the jungle by the river riding a rafting boat. That's an awesome way to end the trekking. You can relax in the boat while you look at the huge jungle trees from the river. So I'm glad we made this trip. Thanks to the awesome crew !
