If you love breakfast foods and learning about history, this tour is for you! - The time of this tour was perfect because it wasn’t too hot to explore Lancaster. I do recommend staying hydrated during this tour and if you could, bring your own water bottle. However, Kendra will provide you with one if you forget! My favorite part was stopping by the olive oil and vinegar taproom, where we tried fruit infused with watermelon rose vinegar. It was delicious! I loved tasting and pairing the different kinds of vinegar and fruits together, it was like the flavors and my tastebuds were in harmony. It’s also a great idea to spice up your fruit! As we were touring Kendra was terrific at explaining the history behind the architecture and historical events that took place in Lancaster. The most interesting was Lancaster during the prohibition era when alcohol was banned, it was compelling to learn about. Also, I really loved going into Demuth’s garden because it was beautiful and relatively peaceful. Overall, the food was delicious and I was satisfied. What I love about these tours is that they are great for both locals and tourists! It’s great if you want to experience Lancaster in a unique way and be immersed in Lancaster’s history. Highly recommend!
