Highlights
  • The Amish Farm and House - Sit back, relax and let us take you through the real Amish country backroads. Your driver-guide will drive 25 miles into countryside not easily found on our own. From the window, you’ll see Amish homes, schools and farms. Depending on the season you might see Amish working in their fields, children riding on scooters and horse & buggies traveling to and from.

Your driver-guide will be narrating as you see the Amish going about their everyday life. You’ll learn about agriculture, farming techniques, weddings, family traditions and how they live in our ‘modern world’.

It’s not just all on the bus; we make two stops at Amish farms where you’ll get to interact with the Amish folks. You’ll have the opportunity to purchase goods made from the very hands who made them! (not on Sundays)

Fun tour - Well done tour which offered insight into the Amish lifestyle. Rose was our tour guide on the van and did a nice job showing us around the country side and many farms we would never have found on our own. The house tour was also informative and interesting even for someone who has plenty of background knowledge on the Amish.

Excellent Guides - Karyl was a great hostess and tour guide as she gave our group a comprehensive overview of the Amish and Mennonite cultures in Lancaster. We additionally took the house tour. I really wish I could remember the gentleman’s name (he stated that he was originally from North Carolina), who did a super wonderful job of providing a narrative of day to day life of the Amish. I highly recommend!

Good tour. - This was a very good place to visit and the bus tour was very good and informative. We had a guide who was also very funny. The house tour was a lot of people at one time, and it was hard to really see the rooms with so many people in it and was unable to really appreciate how the Amish live. And the guide in the house tour just repeated a lot of things that the guide on the bus tour had said. All in all we recommend this tour.

Good overview of Amish area - My husband and I have been to this area before but this was our first time coming with our two girls (7 and 9 years old). The check-in, loading up experience was not the best. It seemed as though they overbooked for the day and we had to wait for our bus to arrive for the tour (even though we reserved our tickets weeks ago). Once the tour began, it was enjoyable. Our girls loved seeing the area and the stops we made. There were plenty of opportunities to pet animals along the way: puppies, horses, goats. We bought a few souvenirs and purchased AMAZING hot pretzels at one of the stops. The Amish house tour was okay. The farm was fun as it had a carriage to get in, scooters to ride, a school house and animals to play with. Overall, it was very good if you have not been to the area before or are visiting with first-timers.
