- Canmore - Canmore is a hidden Gem most people pass by! Originally established as a coal mining town it was brought to the attention of travelers in the 1988 Winter Olympics. It has been taught a some of the mostly healthiest places on earth to live.
The mountains, including the world, renowned “The Three Sisters” is truly a mecca for hiking, biking and exploring, and that is just what we will do!.
We will hot the fresh glacier water spring for a drink, go to the highest vistas and if we are so inclined take a short hike to the falls. Some of the best rock climbing in the valley is here so we can definitely check it out!! Wildlife loves this lush area so we are bound to see some!
May check out the quaint mountain shops where you can grab an ice cream from the famous bus, grab a smoothie or a super Canadian thing to do, grab a “Beaver Tail”. (its fried bread sprinkles with sugar).

We explore all the little secret spots only the locals know about, as I am a local and a rare breed in Alberta! The trip is flexible! Some folks love to swim on a hot day, others like to hike. Some hikes are short and we can lengthen them as well. This tour offers plenty of information about the history of towns, mountains, edible wild food, wildlife, and about the First Nations people. wildlife Also, there will be road food snacks and ice-cold fresh glacier water for you to enjoy!
