- Lake Louise - Lake Louise is a stunning glacial lake located in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada. It is named after Princess Louise Caroline Alberta, the fourth daughter of Queen Victoria and wife of the Marquess of Lorne, who served as the Governor General of Canada from 1878 to 1883. The lake’s striking turquoise color is due to rock flour carried into the lake by meltwater from the surrounding glaciers. Covering an area of 0.8 km², the lake drains through the 3 km long Louise Creek into the Bow River. Moraine Lake and Lake Agnes are also accessible from Lake Louise.
- Moraine Lake - Moraine Lake is a renowned glacially-fed lake situated in the heart of Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada. It is encircled by the majestic peaks of the Valley of the Ten Peaks.
- Johnston Canyon - Johnston Creek begins north of Castle Mountain in a glacial valley southwest of Badger Pass. The creek flows through a gorge known as Johnston Canyon. As it nears the Bow River, Johnston Creek traverses a large canyon formed by erosion over millennia. The creek has carved through limestone rock, creating sheer canyon walls, waterfalls, tunnels, and pools.
- Vermilion Lakes - The Vermilion Lakes are a series of lakes located just west of Banff, Alberta, in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. These three lakes are formed in the Bow River valley within Banff National Park, at the base of Mount Norquay. The area provides excellent wildlife viewing opportunities and breathtaking scenery. With spectacular views of Mount Rundle and Sulphur Mountain, the lakes’ proximity to town makes them an ideal spot to enjoy sunrise or sunset.
