Our knowledgeable local guides are skilled at identifying the best spots on the lake to view and photograph these fascinating bubbles, helping you avoid the crowds. They also prioritize your safety in this rugged environment.

To add warmth to the icy surroundings, we’ll set up a fire pit and provide hot drinks at Abraham Lake for guests to enjoy.

• Peyto Lake - Put on your snowshoes or crampons (provided) and trek through snow-covered trails to the stunning Peyto Lake viewpoint.

Upon arrival, our certified local guide will equip you and demonstrate how to use the gear, leading you through the magical forests of Bow Summit to a panoramic view of Peyto Lake, nestled among towering mountains and glaciers in Banff National Park’s Rocky Mountains.

If you can walk, you can snowshoe!

While participation is optional, it is highly recommended. Expect an easy to moderate walk: a 1.5 km/0.9 miles round trip, taking about 45 minutes.

• Bow Lake - At an elevation of 1,920 m (6,300 ft), Bow Lake is one of Banff National Park’s largest lakes.

Fed by the Bow Glacier in the Wapta Icefield, the lake lies beneath Bow Summit, offering a magnificent viewpoint for photographing the Canadian Rockies.
