Simon’s Rock - Our tour guide Simon was excellent. Great knowledge and very helpful. If you go on this trip and there is snow still lying around, gripons are a must (Simon had some spare in his box of goodies). The scenery was spectacular and hard to capture in a photograph. We even got to watch 2 huge stones from a rock slide be removed from the road in front of us - now known as Simon’s Rock. Fully recommend this trip.

Amazing Icefields - What a fab day out with Simon. As just 2 guests we had a personal guide who was knowledgeable and great fun. The scenery was spectacular and Simon helped to capture the trip as our group photographer.

Impressive Day Tour - On this one day trip, we visited Bow Lake, Peyton Lake, the the Athabascar Glacier. It was a gorgeous early May day, so the views were breathtaking and the hikes were fun. Our tour guide, Nolan was extremely knowledgeable about the area, it's history and geology. I would definitely recommend this tour as a way to see the highlights of the area, hear wonderful stories of it's rich history and get some close views of a glacier.

Great way to see Icefields Parkway! - My husband and I traveled for the first time to Banff with our elderly parents (89 and 85). I was worried about making a lot of stops and our parents moving at a slower pace than other tourists which is why I booked a private tour. However, most is sightseeing from the vehicle so I’m pretty certain we could have done a small group tour. Our tour guide Amelia was wonderful! She was very accommodating. The sandwiches included with the private tour were very good as well. We were very satisfied with the view from the Columbia Icefield visitor center and did not feel like we missed out on anything by not scheduling the Ice Explorer (which is harmful to the glacier anyways). Peyton lake was absolutely beautiful!! One of my favorites.

Majestic Mountain Views at Every Turn! - Having visited Banff briefly in 2018 for a training course, I had always wanted to go back and more deeply experience this majestic place. I was thrilled when a longtime friend was up for visiting on a girls’ getaway! The true highlight of our visit was the Icefields Parkway tour with Jess of Radventures — absolutely fantastic! Jess was warm and welcoming to the small group of travelers, and she shared a wealth of interesting information along the way about history, geology, local lore, and more. In addition to treating us to the placid mirror view of Bow Lake in the quiet of morning, she ensured that our experiences at the Athabasca Glacier and Peyto Lake were very special. In fact, when my friend and I were the only tour guests interested in walking up to the Athabasca Glacier, Jess lent us hiking poles and joined us for the brief stroll! I thank Jess for her hospitality, and I highly recommend Radventures.
