  The adventure starts with an early pickup in Nairobi, followed by a picturesque drive through Kenya’s highlands to reach Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Upon arrival at Sweetwaters Serena Camp, guests can enjoy lunch before embarking on their first game drive.

The afternoon game drive highlights the “Big Five” and includes a visit to the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary. There is also a rare chance to see the world’s last northern white rhinos in their dedicated enclosure. The day wraps up with a delightful dinner under the stars at the camp.

Day 2: Ol Pejeta to Nairobi
Begin the day with an early morning game drive, the optimal time to observe predators. After a final wildlife viewing and a satisfying breakfast, the return journey to Nairobi commences. Guests will be dropped off at their hotel or the airport, marking the end of an unforgettable safari.

Ol Pejeta Ranch, also known as Sweetwater’s Game Reserve, is a sprawling 24,000-acre private ranch known for its population of non-native chimpanzees. The property houses a Chimpanzee Sanctuary established by the Jane Goodall Institute. The sanctuary discourages breeding, but it recognizes the need to nurture young chimpanzees into adulthood. As you tour the Chimps Sanctuary, you have the chance to observe orphaned chimps. The location also boasts the title of the largest Black Rhino Sanctuary in East Africa. In addition to the chimps and black rhinos, you can marvel at a stunning array of wildlife, including zebras, lions, leopards, Thomson’s gazelle, Grant’s gazelle, Oryx, eland, baboons, elephants, and various bird species.
