- Praia da Arrifana - Our team of cerfified, experienced and multilingual surf instructors will introduce you to the basics of surfing with the help of special surf boards and equipment at our surf school at the Algarve in the southern region of Portugal .
We take you to surf beaches that suit your level of surf skills, famous surf spots like Arrifana, Monte Clerigo or Amoreira. The beaches will only be announced the day before the lesson, as we have to take levels and wind and wave conditions into account.
During your lesson (ca 2h lesson) you will learn the basics about waves, currents, tides and equipment, and how to correctly paddle and handle the surfboard in the water.
You will always remember the first wave you caught, your take off into your new water sports passion, surfing!

Surf Theory
At the start of your surf training, you’ll familiarize yourself with wave features, currents and tides. Your instructor will also introduce you to the basics of surf gear.

Our surf school boasts user-friendly soft boards, ensuring necessary safety while on water. The long, comfortable neoprene suits from Billabong and Ocean and Earth afford you maximum mobility and keep you heated in the water for a substantial amount of time.
