- South Explorers - We will pick you up at your accomodation or hotel.
- Caldas de Monchique - Here we will visit the small spa where we find a secret garden of the sixteenth century. In this verdant garden we will prove the water that comes directly from the mountain, the purest and known for its medicinal properties.
- Monchique - Small village with a nice old character! We will stop and visit a viewpoint and the main square of the village. We will also tour the historic center with small traditional shops.
- Mount Foia - We go to the top of Monchique Mountain. Fóia is 902 meters high and offers a unique view of the entire region. Here we will also find an exhibition of craftsmanship of monchique artisans.
- Igreja da Misericordia de Monchique - Let’s stop in the village of Monchique and see the view from the belvedere. Then we walk to the central square where we will taste the famous firewater “Medronho”.

Great day at Silves and Monchique with Antnio - I really enjoyed my day with our guide Antnio for this visit at Silves and Monchique ending with a great wine tasting experience. I learned a lot about this less known part of Portugal which mots tourists miss. Quite an enjoyable day in nature. I got to see stark nests, cork and eucalyptus trees, many flowers and the top of the Monchique Mountain as well as its natural water source used by a spa. The castle in Silves is impressive with its red bricks.

Variety, comfortable, scenic, historical - Knowledgeable tour/driver guide brought us to Historical Silves and Monchique then to the highest point in Southern Portugal, finishing at a small private winery for tasting and tour. Wonderful mix of history, landscapes and pleasant time spent with the others on the tour.

Beautiful tour with fantastic guide!!! - My family of 4 had such an amazing experience with Antonio! Monchique is beautiful and unique. Antonio is a perfect guide! He has alot of knowledge and passion for Portugal. He directed our itinerary very well, but gave us plenty of time and space to explore! We would do this again in a heartbeat! Thanks!!!

Lovely half day trip. - Lovely half day trip. António was a great guide - very knowledgable and nice guy. Particularly enjoyed visiting the quiet retreat on the way up to Monchique village - very peaceful and beautiful. Would highly recommend the trip to others.

Great tour and amazing views - Are you looking for a good tour guide for in the South of the Algarve? Well, look up Antonio!
Antonio is an great tour guide who is very knowledgable about the surrounding and all it has to offer, such as the history, culture and culinary, among other aspects. He is very friendly and ready to let you go and explore the souvinier shops and chitchat with the locals. We really enjoy our trip, he shows a lot of passion for his job and a lot of energy from start till the end of the trip.

Very Good Tour! - Me and my partner were very pleased with this tour, and would defiantly recommend it for anyone who likes siteseeing.
It would be great for anyone, people in groups or even if you are traveling by yourself.
I am also very glad I had my camera with me that day.
Antonio was a very good guide who knew a lot of information about each place we visited and was very friendly as well.

A great mountain tour - With our guide Antonio we felt immediatley welcome. He take us to beautiful places and gave as a lot of information about the landscape, the history and the people. All in all it was a great trip!
