- Bon Temps Grill - This fabulous local restaurant serves up our favorite chicken and sausage gumbo. There’s also a full bar and a fun specialty cocktail menu. (*Adult beverages are not included in tour price but can be purchased for those who choose to partake.)
- Poupart Bakery Inc - Every tour ends with dessert, and Poupart’s is on of our favorite stops. We do like to leave a few things to surprise, just know, we are professional eaters, and we guarantee it will be fresh and delicious!
- NuNu’s Market-Youngsville - If you’re taking our lunch tour (10am,) we’ll head to the outskirts of Lafayette to experience fresh smoked sausage, boudin, and cracklin at this, one of our absolute favorite Cajun specialty meat markets. you’ll have a few minutes for shopping and we carry an extra ice chest on board the bus!

Relish authentic Cajun delicacies like boudin, king cake, etouffee, gumbo, fried seafood, cracklin’, among others. Make sure you arrive famished to make the most of it! We partner with an array of 30 eating joints, meaning the tours, routes and food samples may vary.

We learned so much! - This is way more than a tasting tour. You can expect to learn an incredible amount about how foods and cultures blend, the origin of plants, the history of the region. Yes, the food was great, but guide Jay’s commentary was downright brilliant.

Twice As Nice!!! - This was my SECOND tour with CAJUN FOOD TOURS!!! I loved it sooo much & returned with a new group of family & friends! This tour is absolutely THE BEST - great tour guide, great food & a great experience over all. Thanks Marie for sharing your knowledge & love for our great Cajun Cuisine, Language & Culture. Delightfully entertaining and informative! - Friends treated my husband and me to this tour. The four of us are locals and were very impressed with not only the food but also the quality of the historical information provided. Even though we have lived here 25 years, our guide provided in-depth information on the history of our area with which we were not familiar. Not only was she informative but also extremely entertaining. We have traveled virtually around the world and gone on many tours and she ranks up there with the best. Have recommended it to our local friends.

Cajun Lunch Tour - Tour was outstanding. Food was great. Just enough. My favorite was the shrimp poboy, but the bakery was awesome as well. Our guide Marie was a wealth of knowledge. A great time on the bus.

Wow, what a food tour! - This food and history tour is exceptional! Marie's history of Cajun culture and language on the bus is riveting. Of course the food is a real representation of south Louisana's finest.

Best food tour ever - This is absolutely a great food tour. Every bit of the food at the 5 places we visited was excellent, and we got a great history lesson on the local culture from the owner Marie and her daughter. The bus is fun, we had some foreign tourists enjoying it with us and everybody had a good time. I was not expecting the best boudin around to be in a grocery store/meat market but it was.

A taste of Acadiana foods - Today’s tour was SO MUCH FUN! Marie was an awesome guide and historian. She shared information about our home that many of us did not know. The restaurants we visited were all top notch, the staff at each one was friendly, accommodating and very helpful, the food choices were excellent. A great way to spend a few hours. If you have the chance, schedule one!!!
