Cruise Terminal, Largo Michele Fiorillo - When you arrive at the port of La Spezia, and as soon as you descend from your cruise, you will have to take the shuttle bus that will take you to the cruise terminal where our escort will be waiting for you - Once you're outside the Cruise Terminal you will have to look for your tour leader who will be wearing a blue t-shirt from the "Shore Emotion Crew"

La Spezia trip. - Very unique place. You can get there by boat. Also you will see other small town from the boat. Worth every penny. Must to see. Strongly recommend.

Awesome day exploring the gems of Cinque Terre! - We had a wonderful full- day exploring three of the five gems of Cinque Terre! Our guide was very organized and navigated us from the La Spezia port to train center then on the train through the towns. She provided information about the towns, information, and recommendations on where to explore and lunch spots. We went in November and had the towns to ourselves! Great balance of guided trip with free time in each town to explore. Highly recommend for those coming on a cruise and optimizing your time there!

Highly recommend! - We enjoyed our tour of the Cinque Terre and loved visiting the beautiful villages. We arrived at the cruise port on MSC and took the free shuttle to meet up with the tour at the main terminal. We then walked with our guide to the train station. The train rides were all very short and pleasant. Romina was an excellent guide. She shared information and highlights on the area and then we were able to explore on our own. We would then meet back up to catch the train to the next stop. Since we were there in the off season and everyone agreed, we were able to visit Manarola as well which was our favorite. It was stress free and we were back with plenty of time to spare to get back on our ship before it departed. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone with a day in the LaSpezia port.

3 Bays out of Five - The price increased two days before the event stating that train costs increased which was the only disappointing thing. Lisa, our guide was amazing, friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Her ability to multi task with three languages in our small group was amazing to see. Great weather made for an amazing day.

Cinque Terra - Tour was well organized. The group travelled by train and stopped at three of the Cinque Terra towns. The first stop was very short and could have been skipped to allow more time at the other two. Limoncino tasting was nice. Sample size small. Would have liked to have purchased a larger "sample".
Definitely recommend this tour.

Tour not the best - I felt that this tour with this guide was really not much more than a paid escort to get us to the trains and to get us from town to town. Very little historical context was given or explanation of what we were seeing other than a few minutes near the church in vernazza.
In past tours recommended and listed by Viator I have had guides that really explained and pointed out things. I think this guide (Lisa) needs to give more of a tour / explanation when she stops at the various towns,

Way too crowded - The 20 minute walk to train was at least 30 minutes, the train was crowded. Cinque Terre has lost its luster, due to heavy crowds and ridiculous rules, like where you can sit. We tried to order a beer and sit down but we were not allowed to sit because we were not ordering food. Went to another place and ordered a pizza for 3 of us and they said we each had to order a pizza to sit there. Not a good experience.

To much drama just to purchase a train ticket package - Do to a glitch in the system the date was changed to an in correct one After booking everything went to Chinese writing and then finally came on a while later. . The site froze up and I didn’t see til two days later that they thought we were coming in January instead of May. When my phone rang at 4 am Chicago time it was the tour people calling to say the time had changed. Thats when I noticed the confirmation email with the wrong date in small print up in the corner I immediately got a hold of them and also called Viator. They refused to change to the correct date since it was past the 24hour period Italy time so we lost the total purchase price. Very disappointing.
