  • Museo de Avenida Francisco de Aguirre - You will be able to visit the founding terraces and one of the most beautiful avenues in Chile, home to numerous marble statues and monuments of the renowned Serena Plan.
  • Elqui Valley - From La Serena we will take the international route to the Elqui Valley where old adobe churches will appear, hacienda houses of the first Spanish conquerors and parcels and indigenous towns
  • Vicuna - We will arrive at the city of Vicuña, located at the foot of the pre-Andes and known for being the city where the first Nobel Prize-winning woman for literature in Latin America was born, and also for being a place with a strong link with astrophysics because it is very close to tourist and scientific observatories. and it has an emblematic Tower of the city where Albert Einstein was born. We will stop at one of the most beautiful squares with the greatest number of artistic expressions and craft fairs in its surroundings.
  • Ruta Antakari - We leave Vicuña towards the South along a mountain road to reach the Gabriela Mistral Dark Skies Sanctuary and have the first panoramic views of the Tololo, SOAR, Géminis Sur and Rubin Scientific Observatories, probably a place considered one of the 3 most recognized hot- astronomical spots in the world. We will arrive at El Pangue Observatory, to start our exclusive astronomical tour to observe numerous stellar objects.
  • Observatorio del Pangue - We will begin the observation of planets, comets, red dwarf stars, blue giants, binary stars, nebulae, star clusters and Supernova remnants among others.

Positioned at a prime location 1300 meters above sea level and boasting a lack of light pollution, Pangue Observatory stands out as one of the top Astronomical tourism sites in Chile. The celestial views it offers of the universe, galaxies, and stars unique to the Southern Hemisphere are unmatched globally. It hosts two variants of tours - the traditional tour featuring a 16’ telescope and the extreme tour which utilizes a 25’ telescope. The observatory enables visitors to observe the highest number of celestial objects available during an astronomical tour in Chile, ranging between 8 and 12 objects. Pre-booking is advised due to limited availability.
