Long live safari with Johnatan, top!! - We did this excursion with the guide Johnatan, a friendly and very professional local boy! We visited the Casa de Campo neighborhood, and then sailed on the Rio Chavon, a beautiful experience. We also visited the chocolate and cigar factories, and then had lunch on a ranch on the hill, with typical Dominican food. On the way back we had the opportunity to visit the Higuey church, passing through the busy streets of the town. I highly recommend this excursion! Well done Johnatan!

Relaxing day!! - The resort was beautiful, very clean, all the staff was very attentive and friendly. We were there just on a day pass because we were on a cruise ship but would definitely consider coming back to stay a few days!!

Dreadful don’t waste your time and money - The reception staff did a good job checking is in and pointing to the beach and pool area. The pool has very little chairs or shade. The bar drinks are awful. Watered down and very low quality alcohol. There are bees flying in and out of the cocktail fruit by the dozens. The lunch was not edible. The soda machine was either not working or the resort is trying to save money by using 2 liter bottles that are just pulled up, mostly empty and sticky. The beach is dirty and they do not keep up on messy chairs and unattended towels. The bathrooms are hot and dirty. Broken doors with no hooks to hold your bags or change of clothes. We paid over $600 for our family to spend the day at the Wyndham from our cruise ship and it was the worst day of our vacation. We stayed about 2 hours and everyone left extremely unhappy. Also the taxi to and from the resort from the cruise ship will cost about $45 each way. That just added to this 2 star beach day.
