The main square holds great significance for the people of La Paz, narrating tales of war, sacrifice, prosperity, and nature. After exploring the square, we’ll indulge in some delectable local cuisine. This mid-morning Bolivian snack is a must-try and will be sorely missed once you leave the country!

As we head towards San Pedro prison, our guide will explain why this prison is included in our tour and why we only view it from the outside. Along the way, we’ll pass by several markets that are sure to capture your interest. These markets offer a variety of items, some of which are best left to the locals.

Ever wondered how many types of potatoes exist in the Andes? Join us on Potato Street to discover the diverse dehydrated varieties and their many culinary uses. Following this, we’ll visit the local fruit market, providing a fantastic opportunity to sample exotic fruits.

We’ll then hop on local transport again to visit the witches’ market, a concealed gem in La Paz that will undoubtedly astonish you!

On our return to downtown, we’ll stop by a unique market where you might find souvenirs to take home. This local market features all clothing brands, but with a Bolivian twist.
