One of my best travel experiences - Me and my friend took the 3 day tour and I cannot recommend this company or experience enough!! All the staff were clearly very knowledgeable, professional, and it was clear safety was their number one concern. The food we were served throughout each day was incredible and also extremely nutritious. Very good fuel for the gruelling trek that lay ahead. I unfortunately did not make it to the summit but huge shout out to José for going above and beyond to try to get me to the summit. While I was trying to catch my breath he felt my bag and thought it was too heavy and immediately starting taking things out to carry up himself to make it easier for me, he also gave his thicker gloves to my friend, and was constantly in on me and how I was feeling as he could see I was struggling with the altitude. José worked so hard literally trying to pull me up the mountain and help pull my friend up the ice wall, it was very clear he really wanted to see us make it to the summit. Thank you José for all your help during the trek!

Nice experience - Friendly stuff and guides. Some speak good English. Food is perfect, better then I expected. Some nice ice climbing and generell alpine ice skills. Base and high camp are very good for mountain houses. If you are not experienced just don’t expect any luxury stuff.

Great Once in a Lifetime experience with Jiwaki - Me and my husband just came back from our 3 day Huayna Potosí climb and can highly recommend going with Jiwaki! We talked to a few agencies before, but Jiwaki was the only one being serious about the altitude and how to prepare, if you are not used to it. Other companies just seemed interested in selling the tour and didn’t even ask, if we already spent some time in higher altitudes… The equipment and refuges were good and the food was great and exactly what you needed for the climb (and always enough) and the guides always made sure there is hot water available for tea…. And most important, the guides were great aswell! All of them could talk at least basic english and were super professional and cared for each of us…We were 8 people without highaltitude and climbing experience and all of us made it to the summit :-)

Huayna Potosi 3D/2N - Fantastic experience, the guides on the trip do everything in their power to make sure you summit on the final day. They provide valuable information and answer all questions to help everyone looking to summit. Our guide Juan was great a very knowledgeable guide who set the perfect pace we needed to summit on the final day Accommodation was in dorms but was still comfy & food was good, the group never went hungry. 10/10

Huayna Potosí with Eulogio - Jiwaki was a great company to do the hike with. I am a beginner climber with no pervious experience, and they taught me how to use all the gear and proper techniques really well so I was prepared for the climb. The gear provided by the company was also great and warm, and the food was amazing!! Eulogio did the ascent with me on the final day to the summit, and he was the best tour guide I could have asked for. The Huayna Potosí climb was an intense physical challenge for me that I was not sure I would be able to surmount, however with Eulogio’s much appreciated encouragement, cocoa tea, and patience and we actually made it to the top!! He also was very funny and took lots of great photos, and spoke great English and French which was fun to have a chat 😊. I would highly recommend Jiwaki tours for Huayna Potosí, and would highly reccomend Eulogio as a tour guide !!

Really great experience with Jiwaki - I climbed Huayna Potosi with Jiwaki, my guide Jose was great and super professional and very kind. The equipment provided by the company is very professional and high quality. The food and accomodation were good too. Even tho it was a though climb the guide kept motivating and helping. I would really recommend booking with Jiwaki! I felt very safe during the entire trip. The office is very professional, well organised and facilitating.

Views are amazing, but tour itself only.just OK for the money if you just need to climb - Equipment is average, clothing is OK, boots are super old, plastic style, some fixed after breakage, but everything is working. Food is quite bad I would say, I advise you to choose vegetarian option, it looks better. Everything was quite rushed all the time as they work on high peoole turnover, so you leave all the camps every day not when the weather is good, like not raining and not boiling hot, but when the next or previous group arrived and vans etc. Accomodations, refuges, are quite used and not very pleasant, but ok. The first one even has electricity and a nice toilet though. The most disappointing part is guides. During first day training nobody checked our equipment and how we put it on, they show you some moves and you have to follow, nobody was strapped to a rope from the begging even on quite steep practice routes. The next day some people of 2d tour arrived as well and there were people without any glacier training at all. Guides themselves seem very cheerful, but during the walk on glacier at night they don't listen you mostly and keep rushing while watching Facebook videos. They do accents almost every day and I'm sure are quite bored, and route is not very technival, but their attention to safety and in general is quite poor. I'm sure this is still one of the best companies to do this trek and if you just want to climb and for cheap then they are OK. But if you're used to european standards for this type of sport then you'll be quite displeased with many things, but at the same time the tour was a lot cheaper than it would cost in erurope. Tip are expected by everyone, so plan for that as well. Mountains are beautiful though and views are incredible, you'll be pleased with that.

More acclamation needed - Well, the tour guides were nice and experienced but the food was poor and terrible. Not enough food and water was provided for the level of effort that you are doing. Also, after 3 days in the mountains experiencing altitude sickness (everyone does) and exhausted they drop you back in their office and it is your deal to find a way back to your hotel. On the other hand, the equipment provided was in good condition and as mentioned, guides were experienced. You really need to acclimatise before booking this tour as 3 days still not enough.
