A must see! - I combined a private tour of La Paz with this tour and it ended up being a truly magical day. Juan and Wonder tours were really responsive and went out of their way to ensure that I had a great experience. My guide Daylis was absolutely wonderful! In all of my travels, she was the best guide I have ever had and really made the experience! If you do this tour, I would ask for her! Having the opportunity to see El Alto, the Cholets and the unique sights of the city is something that should not be missed!

Worth it if you have time - We had lovely guide Roxana with us who took us by cable car to El Alto after that we went by taxi to the various cholets . We went inside a 5 star one which was quite amazing …levels after levels of grandeur with stunning views at the very top. We learnt of the city’s culture of hiring these edifices for functions and parties. Over all a nice trip and learnt about Bolivian culture . Would recommend this trip if you have 4/5 hours to spare in La Paz. Thanks Juan for organising everything .

El Alto Tour With Excellent Guide, Juan. - Our guide, Juan, was informative, engaging, personable, and intelligent. Learned alot about El Alto, La Paz, and Bolivia in general. He was open to any and all questions we raised—from politics, customs, history, current events, Personal, etc. He even gave us restaurant recommendations for the area around our hotel.His delivery was excellent due to his teaching experience. We feel very fortunate to have had Juan as our guide.

Good memories - My guide was juane . Most attentive guide . Very accommodating , kind and knowledgable . He was also one of the best photographers I have ever come across . Very pretty El Alto - I had to reschedule my tour due to a flight cancelation and Juan was very flexible. He is very knowledgeable of the area and makes you feel very comfortable. I highly recommend this tour!

Great inside into El Alto life and unique architecture - The tour with Juan to the Cholets was really great. He is a very knowledgable person with really good English skills. All the time of the tour, Juan shared interesting information and stories, not only about El Alto but also about La Paz in general. I got a really good impression on what life in El Alto is and we visited several Cholets with their unique architecture. I can definitely recommend his tour.

Excellent Private Cholet Tour in El Alto - Juan gave my husband and me a fantastic private tour of the cholets in El Alto. We booked the tour the day before and were delighted to get to arrange this tour on such short notice. Juan was extremely communicative, easy to follow up with when we had questions about my limited mobility given a sports injury, and met us at our hotel lobby to make sure we didn’t get lost! He accommodated our interest in taking public transit over pricey cabs and we had a lot of fun exploring La Paz and El Alto like locals. Juan is so knowledgeable and fun and was full of historical and cultural knowledge and we learned so much from him on the tour! He also arranged for a private taxi to take us around to El Alto once we arrived there for the Cholet tour and took us to places that we’d never have found on our own! Truly a highlight of our trip! We also got to spend time inside two cholets and had them all to ourselves which was a real treat. Would recommend to anyone. Thank you Juan!!!
