Fly down the ‘world’s most dangerous road’ on this thrilling mountain-biking adventure! Leave from a high-altitude plain near La Paz, and follow expert guides downhill for 40 miles (64 km) on a narrow, winding road carved into the side of the incredible Andes. Take breaks along the way to admire the landscape that changes from the snowcapped Andes to the lush Amazonian jungle. This is one of the most incredible experiences in South America, and one you’ll want to do with the most reccomended company in Bolivia, which uses international safety standards and ensures incredible service. After the riding adventure, unwind at La Senda Verde Ecotourism Resort, an animal refuge, where you’ll enjoy lunch and observe rescued wildlife. Return to La Paz the same day, or stay overnight at La Senda Verde or in Coroico. This is one you’ll be telling the grandkids, so do it right!

Credit where credit is due, it was an excellent tour. - Not the cheapest tour but worth it. The bikes were good ( kona full suspension) which was a relief after hearing so many horror stories from other travellers and their experiences with other companies. Our 2 guides Chelo and Omar were great all day. The pace was dictated by the group’s ability so no one felt rushed. We were given time to do the zip line en-route and having a hot shower at the end was so nice. Fico the driver drove sensibly on some crazy roads, and was always at the meet points so we could dip in to our day bags that were in the bus.

10/10 day - Wow such an awesome tour, the guides Damian and Alvaro were amazing!! They made sure to look after us and there was no pressure to ride faster than you wanted to. Damian explained lots of things along the way which was a nice bonus. The driver Wil was also very good and I felt safe during the tour, it's definitely worth paying a bit extra for this tour! The tour ended at a wildlife sanctuary which was a good addition to the tour.

The best agency in town - highly recommended! - We had an incredible experience. Our team - Damian, Remy and Jhonny as a driver - was incredible. We felt safe and in the best hands possible at all times. The guides speak excellent English, take safety very serious, give out a great vibe, take formidable pictures during the entire day and are overall just great great guys. Jhonny, our driver, drove like a true pro. The support vehicle was with us the entire day, he managed to drive the death road while maintaining a safe distance to the riders and got us back to la Paz in very challenging weather conditions. Not once did we feel like he did not have everything under control. Needless to say, gravity uses only top notch equipment. Their customer service is just as good - the photos of the trip, for example, were uploaded about an hour after the tour ended.

Great fun, felt safe - We had a brilliant time! The team gave us detailed safety briefings which made us feel a lot more comfortable, because we were scared before the tour, but also the briefings were very practical and useful. There was no pressure to do it or do it fast, we went at our own pace.
Just remember to only put one finger on the brakes!

Look no further - There are quite a few companies offering the Death Road trip, but after a bit of research and a few personal recommendations, went with Gravity. Really professional and efficient and focussed on safety & a great experience all the way through. Noel and the team were just brilliant-clear instructions, great communication and real passion for cycling. Really good kit, well maintained (bike servicing/building is my side hustle). Slightly more expensive than other companies, but you get what you pay for (and a T shirt & cool Buff thrown in!)

Best company for Death Road cycling - We had an exceptional day with Kenny, our tour guide. I was especially impressed by the commitment to safety - we were given all the safety gear and explained at key points where to go. The bikes were the best out of all the tours - good suspension and we also found out they sell their old bikes to some of the other tour companies.
Although they are a bit more pricey than some of the other tours we felt it was worth it for the quality of bikes and safety guidance. The breakfast was also a lot better than many of the other tours.

Amazing tour with the best guides! - The best tour we did in Bolivia!
