An adventure, but you need to tough it - The scenery of this trip is incredible, I think if you are willing to tough it, it’s worth the adventure. However, for the price paid, it was not a good value, given the poor quality of accommodations, the bare-minimum that was provided. The local operating company was Perla De Bolivia, the guide, Victor and the driver Edwin were great! Hard working and trying to make the experience best for our group. However, the places we stayed were terrible, bedding and pillows, did not look clean, we’re old. Inside the room, it was extremely cold with no heat (it was -20 C outside). We could not fall asleep at night. no electricity at the last place, so we had to do things in darkness. Please bring extra battery for your electronics. The bathroom conditions were pretty gross, please bring plenty of tissue paper with you. Food was good only the first three meals, then progressively gotten worse. The last “lunch” was so cold, with canned tuna, and cold rice, some cucumber and tomato slices. Overall, it was a tough trip physically, with almost no chance for hot shower(only one place had it). It should be priced differently for what was provided.

**Avoid Perla de Bolivia at All Costs** - I had the unfortunate experience of booking a tour with Perla de Bolivia, and it was easily the worst travel experience of my life. The 4x4 vehicle we were provided with kept breaking down, leaving us stranded and frustrated. The accommodations were abysmal, with hostels lacking basic amenities such as electricity, warm water, toilet paper, and towels. The beds were incredibly uncomfortable, making it impossible to get a good night's sleep. To make matters worse, the entire tour was incredibly unorganized. It was clear that little thought had been put into the itinerary, and we were left feeling like we had wasted our money. I can not stress this enough - avoid Perla de Bolivia at all costs. Their lack of professionalism and disregard for their customers' well-being is unacceptable. Booked the 8pm departure tour and didn't leave till 1030pm. Booked small group 5 max people, but we had 6 on our 4x4s. Everything was a lie. Paid $365 when other paid as low as $120 and one person $180. Don't get fooled here.
