Best Ever! - I just returned from a wonderful ride with my adult daughter. We decided to ride the hills behind the ranch instead of the beach because of the beautiful landscape and desert vegetation. We loved it!!! I'm an experienced rider. My daughter is not, but the horses were perfect for both of us. Following the ride we were treated to the best breakfast I've had since being in La Paz and then told we could explore the grounds. I was given a bag of cut up carrots to feed to the 20+ horses and ponies the ranch cares for and our guide took us around to meet all of the animals. Horses, donkeys, goats, chickens and more. It was without a doubt one of the best "commercial " horseback riding experiences I've ever had. Thanks to all. 🙏 Diane Hickman Iowa

Perfect from start to finish - This is a real class act. I can't say enough GREAT things about it. I've done several public rides, but never had such a strong and well trained horse. Rode through the dunes and the galloped down the beaches. Spectacular views throughout. The Rancheros are super friendly, and make sure you get the ride YOU want. From slow walks though the dunes and desert to fast runs on the beach. This is followed up with a huge excellent breakfast. The ranch is impeccable and the horses are beautiful, strong and very well cared for.

Beautiful…fun…delicious!!! - What a wonderful day at Rancho San Lorenzo! The horseback riding was so much fun. Horses were well mannered and fun to ride. Our guide was super nice. The scenery at the beach was breathtaking. Then we get back and the homemade breakfast was to die for. We absolutely loved our morning excursion!

Must do in La Paz! - We spent a couple weeks in La Paz in July. We went to the ranch and had a blast. Kai hosted us for brunch and we had an amazing time. It’s kinda pricey but definitely worth it. They had baby goats and sheep that the kids could pet and feed. Definitely a memorable experience. The food was crazy good and the service was top notch.

Awesome! - Amazing experience! Our tour guides were very friendly and polite! The food after the ride was probably some of the best food I’ve had while in La Paz. 10/10 would recommend!

Nice - The ranch is very nice. The guide was super cool and funny. The horses happy and healthy looking. The food was really good. Tecolote is super beautiful. I would recommend this place.

Fantastic ride near the beach and ranch dinner. - This was such a fun ride. It was my friend and I. We each had our own guide that we’re so nice. Road near the beach and sand dunes. They even seranaded us as we’re riding back to the ranch. The dinner was excellent! I’d highly recommend anyone to go on this trip.

All around wonderful experience - The folks at Rancho San Lorenzo went above and beyond to create a smooth, fun and satisfying experience for me. Riding a horse through the desert to the beach was great. The animals looked healthy and well cared for and my guide was extremely accommodating and offered to take photos for me. Breakfast was amazing. I was a little nervous because I have some ridiculous dietary restrictions, and the kitchen was happy to accommodate with a delicious feast to suite my needs. I spent the afternoon at the beach and enjoying the hammocks in their casita. They even arranged transportation for me and ensured that it all ran smoothly. Thank you Rancho San Lorenzo!

MORE THAN JUST HORSEBACK RIDING!!! - This place is what I expected when I decided to visit La Paz. The facility, horses, staff, and owner are top-notch! Upon arrival, the staff began entertaining my kids and allowed them to feed the chickens. Once we began riding, the staff ensured our safety and were very attentive to our individual needs. After our ride, the cooks prepared an amazing feast for us with organic eggs from the farm. They literally stuffed us and I had to beg them to stop bringing more food. After breakfast, the kids were allowed to pet and feed some of the animals at the farm while I conversated with the owner (Jeffrey). Just an amazing experience with an amazing group of people. I will take advantage of the beach on my next trip. Thanks Ty for being such a great host and I will be returning to soon to hangout with you guys at the ranch!

A MUST when you come to La Paz!!!!! - My daughter and grandchildren came for a visit (we live here) and I had not heard of Rancho San Lorenzo - and BOY are we all glad we found it! This past week, my family went TWICE!!!! After the first experience with a beach horseback ride and breakfast, then kayak and paddle boarding for the afternoon, we scheduled the MOUNTAIN trail ride, kayaking and paddle boarding at Tecolote Beach. EVERYTHING about this venue is 5 star including breakfast, staff (Thai and Erika), wranglers, horses and the owner! The photos tell the story. If you are questioning whether to do this or not DO IT! The kayaking and paddle boarding are included in the day rate, Thai event set us up at a vendor to purchase a late lunch and drinks (with shade and chairs for me) while the kids did the activities. We will go back! More grands coming late July - already planning which day(s) they will go!
